I'm sure Art Bell ... hey didn't he retire back like a few years ago ... and George Noonry are fishing up some kooky experiment on how Dubya was influenced by martians to take out Saddam ... no, just kidding but really that's what the Internet is for ... and of course Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh on the radio ... we're the new media ... these kooks are not. (example: Air "Head" America and the DUmmies.)

I mean the Internet and Rush, Hannity, and the rest of the Conservative gang like Bortz, Gallagher, Laura Ingraham, and Michael Reagan, etc etc .. we are the ones getting this type of information out ... we're the ones nuking the Left while the Left keep nuking themselves with their failed attempts to beat us. But then again the Left does resort to some nasty stuff just look at Limbaugh's trials, and now Bill O'Reilly. O'Reilly isn't a Conservative but Liberals think he is, so, they will use this as a way at bringing down Rush and Talk Radio. Ok, that was a little off subject, but I had to, as Bill would put it, opine.

Correct that is the obvious answer, but what happens next? I say we bring Syria to justice and hold them personally accountable, as Bush said he would do to any country after 9/11 when the WOT began, and what he just said today in the Garden State.

Oil-for-Food Scandal Key to CIA Report
Fox News ^ | 18 October 2004 | Fox News Staff

Oil-for-Food Scandal Key to CIA Report Monday

The U.N. Oil-for-Food program — already the subject of federal, congressional and United Nations financial abuse probes — took a fresh hit with an explosive new report that said Saddam Hussein was using the program to fund his ambitions.

The report looking into whether Iraq had weapons of mass destruction — found that Saddam was able to "subvert" the $60 billion U.N. program to generate an estimated $1.7 billion in revenue outside U.N. control from 1997-2003.

In light of the report, FOX News presents another hour-long special investigating the biggest financial scam in modern history. Learn more about the Duelfer report by reading it for yourself through the links in the actual link.

The roots of the Oil-for-Food scandal date back to 1991, when a U.N.-backed and U.S.-led coalition expelled Saddam from Kuwait following his hostile takeover of the neighboring country.

Although Saddam lost the war, he walked away with important victories — he got to stay in power in Iraq and he ultimately got to pocket millions, if not billions, of dollars. Read more here.

Did Terrorists Benefit From Oil-for-Food? U.S. Treasury officials have already identified 11 front companies and nearly 200 Iraqi-controlled firms that they suspect were part of Saddam's secret and illegal network. They say that's only the tip of the iceberg. Read more here. Iraqi People Suffered Under Oil-for-Food In the Saddam era, Baghdad's Al Rashid Hotel was the main stop on the Oil-for-Food tour. Regime-friendly types would stay there when visiting Baghdad. They'd stop and say hello to Saddam or a crony, snag a voucher good for a load of Iraqi crude and, conveniently enough, there were oil traders in the lobby of that hotel who could turn those vouchers into cash.

Art has a huge audience, and while he has expressed skepticism about the Iraq War he is open-minded and can be swayed by the facts. If he were to come out in favor of President Bush it might make others reconsider their position on the coming election. Yes, we are the new media, but there are huge segments of the population who don't have a clue about FR or Hannity or even Rush, (you've got to listen to him first before you can hear what he has to say), (obvious but also true for a lot of people). We have to be available as a resource, but we also have to seek out people and let them know we exist.

Agreed. 100 percent without a shadow of a doubt. I think we have to do all that we can as a community to reach out to our friends, family, and even that unknown stranger, or colleague at work. That's why I encourage people to go to their local Republican HQ and volunteer. I have done it, and so should other people.

I guess you're right on Art Bel. But, hey didn't Art retire or is he back? He he, shows you how out of touch I am with that crowd! But anyways, right they are a venue in which we should spread some "Compassionate Conservatism" too, if Hannity can't of course, "Hannitize" them! So dittos on that one.

> The reporting also stated that Iraq has provided training to al-Qa'ida members in the areas of poisons and gases and making conventional bombs.

Just noticed that sentence. I've used this point frequently in my arguments with my liberal friends.

Let's say I'm some moonbat with a grudge and I want to do something about it. Mr. Moonbat gets a book on chemistry and plays around in his basement. He may get lucky and make something that blows up, lots of mad bombers have in the past, or he might do society a favor and wind up killing himself, but at this point were talking about one person having to learn through trial and error, and error is not an option if Mr. Moonbat wants to stay alive.

Take Mr. Moonbat and put him in a classroom setting with instructors to teach the right way to make explosive devices and chemical and biological agents. The scary thing is that that classroom can turn out hundreds of Mr. Moonbats over time, who can, in turn, pass on that knowledge to countless others. This to me is a very dangerous scenario and in itself goes a long way to justify shutting down the government that runs such training sites, as in the case of Iraq under Sadam. It's not only about stockpiles of WMDs, it's about stopping the creation of stockpiles of humans who have the knowledge to turn out WMDs, wherever they happen to be.

Bell's lie (and further proof that he's an ignorant nut) is the first Gulf War. Remember Hussein sent his fighter jets into his supposed arch-enemy Iran.

Being thorough and honest about Hussein's wmds is one thing and open to legitimate criticism. But the anti-Iraq group would have us believe that Hussein was totally incapable of having or using them which is nothing short of incredible. The man's history points to his either giving them to terrorists or using them on his own people. Why the anti-war clique thinks that transporting his wmds across the border to Syria is not credible is astonishing in it's naivete.

After once being a Coast to Coast AM late nite junkie, I can hardly bring myself to tune in Art Bell or George Noory any longer. Their positions over the air has become so anti-war that it disgusts me.

Oh to go back to the days of menial things like alien abductions and Planet X.

Wow, this is overwhelming. I always figured that they had hid them and knew that it had to be in another country next to Iraq.

That this isn't in the WaPo or the Slimes shows what wretched, communist papers they have become

I think the World Tribune is a joint venture of both Wash.Compost and the Slimes for world distribution. Interesting that it hasn't been reported this way for domestic consumption. Sounds like they don't want to give the President ANY credit or justification for the Iraq War, especially before the election. I expect this will be reported in the US sometime after Nov. 2nd.

The World Tribune is owned and published by East West Services, Inc.

The International Herald Tribune is owned by the NYTimes. From 1991 to 2003, it was owned jointly with the Washington Post. Timeline.

Whatever George W. Bush knows about this, however (that doesn't breech national security) he needs to relate to us. That is, if he wants to be reelected. There are too many stupid people in this nation, to leave it to chance.

That's one thing I do fault Bush for (don't worry, I early voted for him today). He needs to take the gloves off so the dummies of America (estimated at about 50% right now), can get it also. This whole facade about going to war to "free the Iraqi people" is bogus, IMO. The only reason to send Americans to war is to protect America. Freeing the Iraqi people is just a side benefit. W needs to tell it like it is, up to and including the evidence of Iraq's involvement in the Oklahoma City Murrah Federal Bldg. bombing.
