Leftists are still writing to advertisers to boycott Sinclair. A few of the cowardly ones have given in but General Mills deserves kudos for not giving in to the Leftists! Read their reply to the Leftists and their swipe at CBS!
"We believe one of the fundamental elements of our society is the freedom of the press. Companies such as ours, in our view, should not attempt to influence, control or pre-empt the content of news through the leverage of advertising sponsorship. To do so would undermine that fundamental freedom.
From time to time, any one of us as viewers may consider a particular news story to be inaccurate or imbalanced. News organizations do err. Judgment is not always well applied. One major news organization recently acknowledged that errors were made in stories relating to the current presidential election. When such errors occur, certainly a price is paid in terms of reputation. But errors and questionable judgment are an acceptable price to pay, in our view, to assure the presence of a free and independent media in our society."
Not exactly Atkins-friendly, but no doubt a great company.
That they are, lad (or lass), that they are!
How does the same principle apply to the Boy Scouts issue?
Not to doubt, but how do we know it is authentic? I want to tell General Mills thanks, but only if it is deserved. Is the quote referenced somewhere else?

General Mills ping!
ditto
Flavor of bananas with brown sugar with just a hint of brandy flavor, but not enough to make it that noticeable. Just a hint. It tastes exactly like the actual dessert it's named after. You know--the flaming dish of banana halves? Surprisingly easy to make and a real dinner guest-pleaser!

It is an e-mail that was sent to a Leftist who has contacted all Sinclair sponsors to ask them not to advertise for the Stolen Honor movie! It's authentic alright - that person is sooo pissed off and the rest of the leftists are now boycotting General Mills because of that e-mail!
I don't like plain Cheerios, I do however like the new Berry Burst Cheerios with real fruits
The Bugles in the picture are imposters. I'm surprised there wasn't a lawsuit over that one. I ate half a bag of the REAL Bugles last night. Shame on me...
The Dems/liberals never thought it would happen, but the tide is turning and may even eventually become a tidal wave!
I do not work for General Mills.
You have Freep Mail
