A lot of New Yorkers have forgotten, Schumer has not.

And for that, I thank him...not even holding my nose on this one.

And that makes him veryyyyy dangerous. His gun control views make me want to puke. He's NEARLY as bad as Hitlery and Dianne Feinstein.

When asked yesterday in the debate about Israel and the Palestinian Arabs, the senior Democrat from New York pronounced himself in "more or less complete agreement with President Bush." The "barrier to peace," Mr. Schumer said, is Yasser Arafat. So much for Mr. Kerry's theory that the barrier to peace is Mr. Bush.
Kerry is such an appeaser. No wonder Kerry was one of the peacenicks in favor of the nuclear freeze to help the Soviets.

Mr. Kerry has been accusing Mr. Bush of failing to "engage" with Israel and the Arabs. ".........

.......The kind of language Mr. Kerry is using is code for a plan to pressure Israel, the way Secretary of State Albright did during the Clinton administration

I guess Kerry thinks he can get away with treating Jewish voters the way DemocRATS treat black voters.

""I voted for the $87 billion to back up our soldiers," Mr. Schumer said. "I'm never going to leave our soldiers high and dry, and I didn't when I voted for the $87 billion.""

More aid for New York is incoming.

If you'd like to be on this middle east/political ping list, please FR mail me.

New York's senior senator is accusing his own party's presidential and vice presidential nominee of voting "to leave our soldiers high and dry."

Schumer's a hump in so many many ways, but the guy's a solid citizen when it comes to the War on Terror.

His daughter was at Stuy HS, just north of the WTC, on 9/11.

Schumer is only solid about terrorism because his constituents took the biggest hit on 9/11. He, like all rodents, is smart enought to know where his bread is buttered and to not crap in his nest.

To be honest, I don’t really care what his motivations are for supporting the WOT, as long as he does.

On the domestic front, he’s been even more gung-ho than most conservatives in the area of protecting “his constituents” from foreign threats.

I’m not a NYer anymore, and I wouldn’t vote for him even if I were, but I appreciate his solid work in this one area.

You're right that Schumer's a hump, in every way except getting his sorry rear end elected. He knows how to do that.

How stupid would it be for a NY senator not to support the War on Terror?

"Hmmm. I smell Hillary."

Schumer owes his seat to hillary clinton and her hate campaigning for him, while First Lady. She was vicious.

It might have noted, "even in Florida, where, incidentally, Senator Lieberman, another Democrat who understands the security question, has been traipsing around suggesting that Mr. Bush would be better for Israel than Mr. Kerry."

This guy is a vicious nightmare when it comes to confirming judges. Why can't the people who elected Guilani and Pataki send someone more reasonable to the senate?
