WASHINGTON, Oct. 18 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Citizens United announced today the lineup of cities for the theatrical run of "Celsius 41.11," the documentary that critically analyzes the record of Sen. John Kerry and debunks the lies in "Fahrenheit 9/11."
The full-length film, rated "R" by the Motion Picture Association of America, will open in over 40 markets nationwide, including New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, Tallahassee and many battleground states, this Friday, Oct. 22.
"We've had such overwhelming support from Americans lobbying their local theaters to get the film into their community," said David N. Bossie, president of Citizens United and executive producer of "Celsius 41.11." "The exhibition community has responded and made it possible to stage a release in great theaters in the top markets in an unprecedented short time frame."
Due to an overwhelming positive response to the announcement of "Celsius 41.11," including an inundation of phone calls and Internet activity, Citizens United has successfully distributed the film to theaters. The conservative grassroots organization is working directly with large national theater chains, such as Loews and AMC, regional chains and independent theaters to distribute "Celsius 41.11: The Temperature at Which the Brain Begins to Die."
Featuring former Senator and star of Law & Order, Fred Thompson, Charles Krauthammer, Fred Barnes, Michael Medved, Michael Barone and Bill Sammon among other Washington veterans, the film counters the lies and deceptions of "Fahrenheit 9/11" and provides a full deconstruction of Sen. John Kerry, the Democrat presidential nominee. Citizens United hired respected Hollywood filmmakers Lionel Chetwynd, Ted Steinberg and Kevin Knoblock to write, produce and direct the film.
"Celsius 41.11" documents Democrat presidential nominee John Kerry's 20-year Senate record, from his flip-flopping on important issues to his intent on reducing funding for America's military and intelligence community, even after the first terrorist attack on American soil. The film also covers the first term of President Bush, his record as a leader in the war on terror, and the stark contrasts between President Bush and Sen. Kerry.
The film is not a point-by-point refutation of "Fahrenheit 9/11," but corrects the record on the important misleading themes in Moore's movie, including the 2000 Florida presidential vote, weapons of mass destruction, intelligence failures and the war on terror.
"Celsius 41.11: The Temperature at Which the Brain Begins to Die" is an Adams County/Citizens United Production, executive produced by David Bossie and Craig Haffner, written and produced by the team of Lionel Chetwynd & Ted Steinberg and directed by Kevin Knoblock.

If it comes to the Chicago area, I'll be happy to pay to watch it... unlike Moore's garbage which I downloaded a bootleg copy of. Moore isn't getting a dollar from me.
bump
Already visited the site prior to your post. I am assuming that you are directing me to their schedule. Since the US Newswire posting is today, I can only assume that the celsius41.11 has not updated yet. Just guessing.
Betcha it won't be showing in any theaters in NYC...
Oops, the article says it will be playing in NY. Well, what are the odds that the NYTimes will give it a bad review ?
I saw the ad on Fox last night. I might actually go to a movie, if it comes here.
The link says it is only playing at two theatres, with a single showing at each. It's not actually having a normal release?
BTTT
I can only assume that the Celsius 41.11 website has not updated yet. The Newswire article is dated today.
Sign the petition to have it shown near you.
They might not give it a review at all. What will be interesting is if they will try to complain about it being shown. As for a review, I suspect you are more likely to get a elitist dismissal as if it were beneath them.
Bumpity-bump!
yeah, the website says it is only showing in 2 theatres, and only one showing at each. Oh well
anyone see it yet?
