I was at two of these events on Saturday, one in Rocky Mount and one in Wilson.
As I have listed below, more will follow next Saturday. I encourage any Freepers who can make it to attend, and to pass this information along.
It's not noted on the Burr website, but I believe that just as at the events I attended, GOP-backed candidates for state office will be traveling with the campaign.
At the events on Saturday, October 16th, the following candidates were there:
- Alice Stubbs, candidate for NC Court of Appeals
- Bill Parker, candidate for NC Court of Appeals
- Barbara Jackson, candidate for NC Court of Appeals
- John Tyson, candidate for NC Supreme Court
- Paul Newby, candidate for NC Supreme Court
- Ed Meyer, candidate for State Treasurer
- Steve Troxler, candidate for Agriculture Commissioner
- Robert Brawley, candidate for Insurance Commissioner
- Joe Knott, candidate for Attorney General
- Jim Snyder, candidate for Lieutenant Governor
Each one of these candidates was spoke briefly before Congressman Burr and all were available for questions as they walked through the crowd.
Below is a list of the events for the next two weeks. I don't know all of the candidates listed above will be with Burr at these appearances.
I'll be at the Smithfield event on 10/19. It's FREE, sponsored by the Johnston County GOP, and there will be a BBQ dinner.

I was at the rally in Goldsboro for Burr, pretty good time. Said something I didn't know. That Dole had cast more votes in two years, than Edwards in the last 4
Glad you enjoyed it. I was working @ the Rocky Mount one and tagged along for the Wilson one.
Yes, he mentioned that at the ones I was at too. He's right.
I will have to check, but I think Edwards has voted only about 25% of the time.
