I saw that interview with Kofi Annan. He did call the bribery charges against French, Russian and Chinese key people "silly." He must be thinking in John Kerry terms. Kerry is the only other person in public life who would refer to $3 million cash in hand as "silly."
However, the interviewer did not follow up and ask whether the amounts paid to his son through the company that was "assuring compliance" under the Oil for Food program was also silly, or whether that might have amounted to bribery. The UN is more corrupt than Chicago under Mayor Daly (the older one). And that's saying some.

Kofi Annan told the Jonathan Dimbleby programme on British TV channel ITV1 the claims were "inconceivable".Note that he didn't deny the truth of the allegations.
Clinton, with his non-denial denials, would be perfect for this job. But Kofi's got a talent also...
