Kerry's concession speech:

"George Bush won this election, but he did it wrong. Wrong winner, wrong election, wrong time. I have a plan to undo this election and do it over right. I remember coming up with this plan in Vietnam."

He will be worse than Algore.

We need to be ready to protest Nov 3 against Democrat Party fraud and some new version of Soreloserman.

Polls, schmolls. Keep your heads down and keep pedaling as fast as you can until Nov. 2!

I'm with you on that.

FWIW, an apologist liberal friend (probably the last liberal friend I have left) keeps earnestly trying to *explain* to me that the Left thinks we have our foot on their neck and that is why they are fighting this election so hard.

Poor babies. NOT.

Remember, every word from the MSM is an attempt to game the results. If they portray W as a shoe-in, some who support him might be tempted to stay home on election day. The MSM will never quit and can never be trusted.

No matter what the polls say, the election will be determined by turnout.

Absolutely. I just hope this time every GWB voter knows that and doesn't let anything other than serious illness be a deterrent to voting.

I forget right off the bat, how many votes to insure a filibuster proof Senate? THAT'S what I'd like to see!

Drudge links to an explanation of the poll. They actually have Bush ahead by 2-3%, but then they apply some formula that's supposed to predict the profile of the actual turn-out - then it jumps to 8%.

I wouldn't bet the mortgage on this one just yet. Its somewhere between 2-4% Bush right now, I think. And remember that the 'Rats will commit massive vote fraud in the battleground states - be nervous, and get every W supporter out to the polls if you have to carry them there.

58% of likely voters view the President favorably? That's an awesome number at this stage of the campaign if true.

IF true, what it means is that JF'nK's relentlessly negative attack strategy has failed.

And, in fact, I think it really has failed. People have known for months what F'n is going to say about anything: "I have a plan, and W stinks."

Folks tune that stuff out after a while, and then all they hear is W, being his good ol' optimistic self.

Anecdotal evidence can be found in my own home: today my 12-yo daughter was lamenting the fact that there would be no more presidential debates. She said she loved listening to them so that she could make fun of the "blah blah blah" -- which I know to be directed at Kerry much more than W.

I just got to see the full length version of 'Stolen Valor.' No wonder John Kerry and the RAT war machine doesn't want America to see this movie. It is extremely hard hitting and a real eye-opener. Any red-blooded American watching this will lose whatever respect they might have had for Kerry. These men must be heard!

Hello,

I am livid because I realize that the Left will (if at all possible), drag this country through the same nightmare we had to endure in 2000.

You mentioned being ready to protest on Nov. 3rd against Dem voter fraud, and I am ready to roll.

Regarding a new version of the Sore-Loserman slogan from 2000, so far all I have come up with is sKerry-Cowards. (I'll keep working on it!)
Glad to be here, MOgirl

Yep - I'm with you on that one. Here in the People's Republic of Illinois I'd consider a 45% here a moral victory as well.

Gallup had Bush leading Gore by 13 points on October 26, 2000.

Which is indicative, in my view of reliability. W won, and the only reasons he lost the popular vote was because of the DUI dirty trick, "going positive" near the end, and taking the weekend off. Of course I doubt if any of these drawbacks/mistakes had not occurred, he would have won with anywhere near 13 points, but still.
