MOSCOW [MENL] -- Russia has concluded that at least five Arab nationals participated in the bloody takeover of a high school in August.Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov said an investigation determined that five Arab nationals participated in the Beslan attack by Al Qaida-aligned insurgents. Ivanov, in an address to the NATO-Russia Council in Romania on Oct. 14, would not identify the Arab nationals or their native countries.
In September, Russian officials said that at least 10 of the 32 attackers in Beslan were Arab nationals. The Arabs were identified as coming from Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Syria.
Ivanov told the meeting that the Chechen revolt contained a large number of Arab and other foreign nationalities. He said up to 200 foreigners were fighting Russian troops in Chechnya.

We're on the right path now in Falluja. Bomb the he!! out of'em until their dead or they surrender.
The value of Russia's oil reserves would triple if they attacked Saudi Arabia.
Russian military brass ain't too happy about all those American choppers in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgystan.
Think how we would react if Russia was massing troops in Mexico and Cuba.
We aren't the ones that killed their children. We are fighting the same enemy.Radical Islam.
The october surprise is going to be Bush & Putin carving up the mideast. Its as simple as "You cut and I'll choose".
To defeat terror stop anything from moving in the entire region and start over.
Anything less is doomed to fail. If we deal not with the barbarian hordes on our door we share the fate of Rome.
It is best to scratch several itches at once.
It is well known that Saudi funds Chechen Wahhibi radicalism (as well as Pakistan's muslim A-bomb, etc) so Russia has a legitimate reason to attack Saudi.
Unlike the US, attacking Saudi would be profoundly in Russia's economic interests and would compensate for their loss of influence in oil rich Stans. In fact, attacking Saudi would probably put oil around $120 a barrel. America would plunge into a deep depression, and Russia would experience a tremendous economic windfall which would allow it to resume being a major world power.
Why, if you were coordinate this with China's dumping our debt, (setting off a dollar crisis), the Chinese could get Tawain and the Straits of Malacca and the Ruskies could flatten Saudi (praise be allah).
The time for taking sides is here. Russia will not stand with China. They may not like us, but they know we will honor our word. It's gonna get worse before it gets better.
This evil must be fought.
What do you think Russia is going to do?
They need not stand with China. The events need not be coordinated. I do believe China is deliberately financing our massive deficits with the intention of creating a currency crisis.
Anyhow, we are clearly not going to act directly against Saudi Arabia despite their funding of Islamic nuclear weapons, Al Queada, and the 911 attacks.
Russia on the other hand has multiple strategic and economic motives for such an engagement.
I hope they nukem glowing.
Yes, and Russia will pursue Russia's interests, not ours.
I don't propose to get in bed with Putin. This whole conversation was started by me wondering aloud what Russia will do. I still wonder.
Me too.
A hard black rain is going to fall before this thing is over.
Exactly!
I believe their armed forces are generally in pretty sorry shape, they might be more of a hindrance.
