I have been doing my early voting in Garland the last few years and they have had the touch screens.

I'll be voting in my little home town this year because they will do the early voting thing here for the first time. Not sure if we'll have the computers or paper ballots. I hadn't thought of that.

Unless it has changed since the special election in Feb (Sen Ratliff), we still use bubble-in paper ballots, run thro a scantron. If anything happens to that box, what happens to your vote?

The voting machines should be the same ones that would or will be used on election day..... so if you use paper ballots in the county then you'll have paper ballots... If it's some other type then that is what it's supposed to be.....

We still use the punch card system..... However by 2006 HAVA has mandated computerized equipment if I remember correctly.
