Read Call to Conscience. Particular interest in the list of people who signed the letter to the troops. Scott Camil and Bill Burkett are among those who signed this call to conscience!

In my part of the ountry (Mass) the Sheriffs' offices are all HIGHLY political. The prison staffs are agressively (one might even say violently) dRAT. I've been trying to Google up anything on the McCooks to tie them to local labor action...no luck. Anyone closer to the Hinds Co. facility have any tips?

Put on your tinfoil hat:

From Chronwatch.com
Michael R. Paine is the son of Ruth Forbes Paine and a cousin of John Forbes Kerry. The testimony on March 17, 1964, centered on Michael and his wife Ruth’s friendship with the alleged assassin of President Kennedy, Lee Harvey Oswald and his wife Marina. The Paines were benefactors of the Oswalds allowing them to stay in their home on occasion and giving them spending money. The Oswalds even stored their personal effects in the Paines' garage including the rifle that was allegedly used in the assassination.

Unfortunately, I don't think this will go anywhere either. A friend of mine said her mom received an email from a soldier (nephew?)who was involved. Also some people received calls so, there is some documentation besides the press. We can ask questions but I'm not sure anything could be proved.

No further proof needed:

THIS WAS ORCHESTRATED.

I think the Army is downplaying it so as not to give ammunition to the people who set it up,

I saw a press conference this morning with the CO of this logistics group (not military here, so forgive me if I use poor terminology). He said that they would stand down the transportation unit until their concerns could be evaluated, and the in the mean time other investigations would continue to see if there were violations of the UCMJ.

Interestingly, the soldiers in question were returned to duty during the investigation. While they will not be driving, the will be training, doing maintenance, etc. I thought this an odd approach, but it would be consistent with your hypothesis.

I predict that before the end of this year, a whole lot of AINOs (Americans In Name Only) will be praying to the God they don't believe in that they themselves had been aborticided or never conceived...that's where we're approaching.

If this is the O/S, the rats are hurting real bad.

The stretch from these soldiers to Bush has a long chain of command to go through first. It could also be easily pinned on Kerry who voted NO on funding these soldiers now in harms way.

The prison "scandal" never stuck to Bush either. It suffered from the same problem as this does and will. The stupid voter needs to hear that Bush was DUI or some other personal problem. the more personal, the greater the impact.

This O/S may turn a few voters to Kerry, but it's just not scandalous enough for strong rat voter motivation. It could also backfire as another hit piece on Bush, sending many R voters to the polls.
