If you missed the 7PM PT broadcast of Tim Russert Show on CNBC be sure to catch the re-broadcast at 10PM PT. Christopher Hitchens verbally massacred his boss Graydon Carter on practically every point, who was interviewed by Russert. I didn't catch the entire interview but what I did get to watch and hear you all will want to see. Hitchens buried Carter on every point he tried to make from the war in Iraq to the terrorists.

Program your VCRS 'cause you won't want to miss it.

Back to the Bosox/Yankees playoffs.

Good night all.

Hitchens does that to everyone, you know why? Because he's right.

Carter could not seem to stay focused on a single point, and rather than conceding any argument to Hitchens, he simple abandons them for the next anti-Bush point. By the end, there's nothing left of Carter's argument but smoking ruins.

It's odd: for a bright man--and Carter is a bright man--he spends an awful lot of time the way my dog does, chasing his tail.

Actually he's left. But he has definitely seen the light regarding the war on terror...

Wasn't Mr. Hitchens WONDERFUL. I sat there stunned. It was like music to my ears. HE GETS IT. I sorely wish that all the American public could grasp this as well as he does.

BIG QUESTION: How can Mr. Potato hear all of this logic, and not have any of it soak in???? I feel like all these people are operating on AM and I'm purely FM. What's wrong with people that can listen to Mr. Hitchens, and not ..... it's so frustrating.

Thank you Mr. Hitchens - Thank You - Thank You - Thank You.

I personally don't know HOW you sat next to that guy, and didn't grab him by the coat tails and shake him!!! You are so the man for handling yourself so very well. Thank you for standing up to Carter and his insanity, so well!

Carter, another "educated fool"...
and for the commies and the Islamic terrorists a "useful idiot"...

"Carter is a bright man"
I disagree, I didn't hear anything "bright" come out of his mouth...
what I did hear were the same old and very tired 'Rat "talking points"

Carter's knowledge of Islamic terrorism, the war on terror and the reasons for removing Saddam Hussein have apparently not reached his intellect in three years. LMAO

And for a guy who hasn't voted in a national election in 25 years, Carter is part of the problem and certainly not part of the solution.

Mr. Potato Head needs his job, hence he remains liberal...
because we all know that NBC is part of the liberal MSM...
Don't forget who Russert worked for before getting a real job...

Carter looks like a washed-up, tenured Ivy-league professor to me.

Hitchins is absolutely brilliant. Speaks very softly to make sure you realize he is destroying whoever he's debating.

Hitchens: "Remember... Qadaffi (sp) didn't capitulate to Kofi Annan."

Did you hear Hitchens talk against John Ashcroft and the Patriot Act?
