This a very encouraging development. Maybe this explains some of Kerry's low "Black" support numbers.

Welcome, Bishop.
You chose a man who respects God, and knows that all things come from Him.
The other guy thinks he is God.

The gay marriage issue is looming large in the black church as well. And can truly committed Christians be unconcerned about the rising tide of Islamic fascism?

I am a Black Christian female. I know plenty of Black people who will be voting for Bush on Nov 2. I really believe that there will be about 11% of us voting Republican this time around. I have a Bush/ Cheney '04 sign in my yard and on my car and I am not ashamed!

Kerry cancels visit to West Virginia churchBy WSAZ NewsChannel 3
WSAZ-TVHuntington, WVUSA - A visit to West Virginia by Democratic Presidential Candidate John Kerry has been put on hold.
Kerry was scheduled to attended services at the Apostolic Christ Cathedral in Guyandotte on Sunday.
West Virginia Senators Robert C. Byrd and Jay Rockefeller were to attend with Kerry.
The church pastor, Reverend E. S. Harper, said they were not welcome if they planned to discuss politics during the service.
The Kerry campaign says the church issue did not affect the decision to cancel the trip.
