The Democrats have no one to blame but themselves.
When they became the party of "pro choice" they drove off many of their people, leaving the rest to become radicalized.
People like to talk of the "divide" in the electorate today. I see that divide starting with the politics of abortion. The concept of the murder of children vs. the woman's right to "own" her body has set the stage for placing extreme bitterness and anger into our political discourse. The democrats are the party of evil, the republicans the party of nazis. There's no place to meet or even be civil.
And I must put a disclaimer here; I do believe abortion is evil. In fact, I believe there are concepts SO evil, like abortion and slavery, that for hundreds of years after they disappear they will still cause pain.
The Democrats now own homosexuality, abortion, pornography, illegitimacy, anti-religion, and Bill Clinton and John Kerry- two slick liars. And they wonder why people view them with distaste.
