There's just not much one can add to that.
Ping!
OO-rah.
What they are also seeing is that a large segment of the public has forgotten who attacked whom on 9/11 and who suffered more casualties that day than were suffered on 7 December 1941. JDL
Great article thanks
Exactly right! Only this time we are watching THEM ...it was Cronkite and Kerry now Koppel and Fonda and Moore and many others...but we are watching them...and we will not let this happen
While there will be those who will try to tear the victory away from our guys...we will not ignore turn our backs upon or discriminate against our returning combat vets as was done after Vietnam...if the very worst happens...we know who will be responsible and it wont be because of the valiant and unselfish efforts of the best group of fighters America has ever assembled
I will not stand for them treating my kids my nieces nephews and grandkids the way Kerry, Cronkite, Fonda did us back then
Even in a Marxist stonghold such as WI...in the rural areas of the state not far away from the influence of the state capital bureaucrats, the Univ, and the urban blight...the 'We Support Our Troops' bumper stickers and American flags are still displayed and there are many..
While the rhetoric of the left is vocal...they will not get away with what they did last time
IMO
Thanks.

During the revolutionary war, we had to force New York to join us (or die by our hands!).
I submit that these people haven't "forgotten" 9/11 - they simply didn't care that much in the first place. I don't believe they represent half the country, but a smaller, very vocal, minority.
We'll always have those who can't deal with reality. They're foolish childlike people, and it's always been our job to protect them anyway. The danger is treating these children as adults - it's been our mistake to try to please them. Like giving a treat to a bratty kid to pacify him or her. That kind of "discipline" doesn't work. Just as it doesn't work with our enemies.
SEMPER FI!!!!
Bump for an extremely good read.

You want me on that wall Bump!
I didn't know Gyrenes could write. :)
This touches my heart. My son graduated from Marine boot camp ysterday, I brought him home last night for his ten days of liberty. Graduation was incredible. I have never seen such a great group of men in my life. God bless these wonderful men who sacrifice so much to protect us. Thank you for posting this.

This one is a keeper, BUMP!
"People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf." -George Orwell. I've said this in my own way many times. God Bless LT. Kevin Brown and all the rest of them that make it possible for me to sleep that way at night. I've said it many times that these people are the Best of the Best and it is very true. From the young ones some that are teenagers to the older NCO's and the Officers they are the BEST. I don't want a draft to come because we have the BEST now. The LT. is right one is to many to die but in my heart none of them is ever forgotten and they live on in the ones who continue. They all have my support and if they even wanted me back I know there are still things I can do. It would be an HONOR to serve with these wonderful PEOPLE. God Bless America and all who serve HER Past, Present, and the Future to come.
I hear wind chimes.
