O'Reilly producer causes scene at hotel [Includes the other side of the story.]

A producer for The O'Reilly Factor, who has accused the show's host of sexual harassment, reportedly caused a scene with customers at a New York hotel bar.

Bethenny Frankel claims she was with friends last Friday at the Peninsula Hotel when she asked producer Andrea Mackris if she could borrow an extra chair at the TV producer's table, causing Mackris to became irate, the New York Post reported Friday.

She literally verbally attacked and abused and harassed us ... like a raving lunatic. It was very strange, said Frankel, a chef and owner of a cookie-making company.

Mackris' attorney confirmed his client was at the Peninsula with her mother, but said Frankel was rude and impatient when Mackris suggested the Frankel group get chairs from the maitre 'd.

This woman started to really insult (Mackris) and bad-mouth her and act inappropriately, Benedict Morelli said.

Mackris filed a lawsuit Wednesday against her boss, alleging O'Reilly made lewd passes at her. O'Reilly countersued, accusing Frankel of blackmailing him with the threat of the suit.

There was a similar piece posted yesterday, but it only contained Frankel's side of the story. ...interesting that this left vs. left struggle is published in Australia.

In any case, Democrats don't treat Democrats very well, do they?

There's also an error in the last sentence. "Frankel" should have been written as "Mackris," I suspect.

I'd give my opinion of Mackris here - but I'm afraid she might sue me.

In my mind, here is rock-solid proof that this lawsuit is part of the liberal agenda.

I've offered ruses, flamboyant sensationalisms, some info worth seeing (and some not), and lots of linked information about O'Reilly being with the liberal left.

But psych. stuff and politics aside, I agree. There are no good guys in that whole mess, including mackris, IMO, her lawyer and others.

But none of the players in it are really associated with us, either. And contrary to the contrivances of the popular left media about Bill being a "right wing" "conservative," I think most politically inclined people are well aware that we are not with him.

And some on the left are fighting over whether to attack, ignore or protect Mr. O, believe it or not. He did oppose any laws to criminalize abortion, except for partial-birth abortion, calling it a "a private matter," and said that he wouldn't tell any woman not to get one (his comment to Charles Gibson on Good Morning America). He supported victim feminism on a number of occasions, calling for harsh punishments without evidence. ...even shouted out the words of one Phd. conservative family advocate and cut him off. He has shown himself to be an uncouth, pandering lecher a number of times. He even supported the Million Mom March gun control agenda. He did support homosexual activism (re. the fray with Stephen Bennett).

So yes, there's some conflict on the left over him now, and that's a good thing at this point in time.

Bill supports quite a number of other left/liberal leanings (e.g., to Mike Wallace on 60 Minutes, his words against the Swift Boat Vets, against Sinclair,...) that most of us are aware of, so he doesn't have much support here.

Whatever noise will help us between now and Election Day--that, and Kerry either backing out of or going forward with his word to be on Bill's show.

But as for Bill O, he's not with us.

Most big time trial lawyers are certainly part of that agenda, and some say that Morelli is one of the worst of 'em.

Did you see the anti-Republican and anti-Bush statements in the motion Morelli filed for Mackris? It's probably not unusual at all for lawyers to put garbage like that in motions in some courts, but it is a transparent ploy in that one to tie O'Reilly in with Republicans in general during the scandal.

...transparent, though, just like O'Reilly's efforts to appear more aligned with the politics of Coulter, recently.

If this is a part of the liberal agenda, then Bill O'Reilly deserves every negative thng that will come from it, for betraying his loyal supporters, me included, by going over to the dark side and "closet backing" that low life traitor, John Kerry. I can't stand O'Reilly, and will do all that I can to tear him down!!!

It was through the NewsMeat site that I discovered that hip director Spike Jonze's real name is Adam Spiegel.

...and Bob Newhart's real name is 'George.'

I found it interesting that newsmeat found Randi Rhodes' real last name.

This doesn't ring true. If Mackris was the "victim," how did the fact that she worked for the O'Reilly show come up in the exchange? Mackris would only bring that up if she was being the arrogant and difficult party.

The interesting thing about O'Reilly is his book, Those Who Trespass. There is a loud, obnoxious TV personality in it who considers himself quite a lothario with the ladies...sound familiar?

The interesting part is that the character based on himself turns out to be the killer.

'Rats, who think they are the elite, don't think they have to treat anyone politely. . . in fact, they don't understand the term polite. When does one ever see on on the tube who's repsectful of his opponent, whose voice in not ten decibels higher than everyone else, and who doesn't take all his and the other person's time, interrupting constantly. They are
sub-human in the interrelations.

If the liberals are trying to go after conservatives, they sure did hit the wrong guy. Bill O'Goods is no conservative.

"interesting that this left vs. left struggle is published in Australia."

My thoughts exactly!! I'm constantly surprised by the things I consider to be small, but they get big play in other countries newsprint.
