Senator Kerry's mention of the vice president's daughter, in answering a question about homosexuality in America, threatens to break the momentum he has established in recent weeks.

President Bush's most conservative supporters invoked one phrase yesterday to describe Mr. Kerry's mention of Vice President Cheney's lesbian daughter during the last presidential debate: Low blow. And the vice president agreed.

The only thing that'll break Kerry's momentum is the proverbial awning adjacent to the skyscraper.

They think we're stupid. Its one of those petty stunts that will backfire in their faces. If it was meant to depress the GOP base, I guarantee you it had practically the opposite effect. People are fit to be tied to get to the polls on November 2nd to send the Democrats a message and they can't wait. Yeah, keep those redneck homophobes at home, that's the ticket. The Left doesn't understand conservatives.

Kerry should have slammed into a brick wall a long time ago. Between the Swift Boat vets, his own traitorous actions, his constant flip-flopping, his media flunkies getting caught in document forgeries, Sandy Berger absconding with secret files that could have been damning to Kerry, his abysmal voting record and the fact that he hasn't even bothered to show up to work more than half the time, his failure to sign the 180 while at the same time trying to smear the president's military service record, the fact that his own church doesn't want anything to do with him; besides being an arrogant, condescending, elitist scum-sucking bottom feeder, add the fact that he is a poser, a gigolo and a pretentious @$$h*le that wouldn't have a clue how to relate to a regular working man if his life depended on it; never mind that he is a buffoon and downright unlikable and, as Lynn Cheney put it, is just not a very good person, and who has a face to match his character (or lack of it), this pompous windbag's campaign, along with his political career, should have been history and election 2004 just a matter of sweeping up the crumbs.

The fact that this pathetic joker is not only still around, but gaining support, is an indicator of what a serious craphole this country is in. This is a man who has no integrity, no honor and no decency. It also magnifies and brings into focus the vicious, irrational hatred the left has for the president and everything good that he represents. Kerry has absolutely nothing going for him except that he isn't Bush and seeing how close this election is, in spite of everything, scares me to death. It will take an act of God to turn this country around. Thankfully, God is still in the miracle business, so I haven't given up, but I am certainly grieved at what my country has become.

"It's probably time to drop this before undecided voters get sick of hearing about it."

Any voter who is undecided at this stage of the game has the IQ of a turnip.

"Most polls gave the debate win to Mr. Kerry, though by varying margins."

That is hogwash. Kerry was all over the map, on social issues particularly. Bush mopped the floor with him. But then, democRATs call good, evil and evil good.

"Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes And clever in their own sight! Woe to those who are heroes in drinking wine And valiant men in mixing strong drink, Who justify the wicked for a bribe, And take away the rights of the ones who are in the right!"- (Isaiah 5-20-23)

agree with you. Kerry shot himself in foot and if our side gets to involved with this it could hurt us.

"The answer to that question was a blunder and alienated many undecided women voters."

Very true! My wife had a very negative response to sKerry's answer to that question. She turned to me and said WOW! What the H3LL is he thinking! What an insult to his WIFE!

This had even more of an effect on her than the Mary Cheney comment made by sKerry.

I do believe that I could hear ALL of the air escaping out of the WOMEN vote ballon that sKerry might have had right at that moment!

I felt rather sorry for Elizabeth Edwards and all she has gone through and was willing to forgive her weight "issues". However, since she has started this one by picking on a family member of the Cheneys, let me say, she has CHOSEN to be fat, obese, a tub of lard, whatever and is one of the reasons this country's healthcare is in such dire straits. Obesity floods the system with all of the other health problems that go along with it--heart disease, diabetes, stroke, etc. She is the reason, along with her husband ole suin' john, that we are paying so much in insurance premiums.

Also, Edward's wife Elizabeth's comment re: Lynn Cheney being "embarassed" by her daughter's sexuality, isn't going to help the Kerry-Edwards camp much either..

Now that's a more accurate headline!

Amen!
