TerroristWarning.com Editors Response to Recent Criticism:

Recently we have received a number of complaints from Kerry supporters who are upset that we included links to articles in our alerts which do not cast John Kerry in a good light.

These emails charged that our TerroristWarning.com website was "turning into free advertising for the Bush campaign", one said we "must be involved with republicans or some other equally or more insane group", and another said "Your reporting has become increasingly hard-line right-wing." There were others which made similar complaints. These charges are incorrect.

Our most recent email alert included links to two articles, one at WorldNetDaily.com and one at NewsMax.com, which essentially charge that Kerry received hundreds of thousands of dollars from lobbyists who support Iran and that Kerry has indicated he might favor the U.S. sending nuclear fuel to Iran, and that questions to his campaign about these charges are going unanswered.

While we at TerroristWarning.com do believe that Bush is by far the best choice for a Commander in Chief in the continuing War on Terrorism, that belief has absolutely no bearing on our decision whether or not to include a link to a given article in our alerts. We include links to articles that have to do with Terrorism, the War on Terrorism, Preparing for Terrorism, or anything that might be a threat to the USA or our allies, period.

We believe that if either candidate receives funding from lobbyists who support Iranian interests then it is clearly relevant to the war on terrorism, mostly because Iran is the biggest supporter of terrorism on the planet. We also believe it is extremely naive to believe that Iran only wants nuclear power generation and does not seek nuclear weapons. Therefore any article about either candidate proposing to send Iran nuclear fuel will make it into our alerts, the fact that it was Kerry's idea and not Bush's is not our fault. The fact that such articles show up on WorldNetDaily.com or Newsmax.com is a credit to those websites because it is clear that most of the major media sources are not always willing to publish such articles if the they do not favor the same candidate they do.

Charges of partisanship on the part of TerroristWarning.com are false, and are made by readers who simply have not paid attention to our alerts...

In addition to numerous articles which do not favor Kerry, we have also included links to articles which were not favorable of President Bush. We have said publicly, on multiple occasions, that we think that President Bush's Patriot Act, in its current form, is perhaps the most Un-American and Un-Patriotic law ever written, and we have on multiple occasions indicated that we felt Bush has done a miserable job in failing to secure our borders, possibly putting our schoolchildren in danger. None the less we support President Bush in this election because we feel that Kerry's policies will be devastating to national security and the war on terrorism, as well as to our country's financial and economic security.

TerroristWarning.com is a free public service, not a news organization like CNN, CBS, FOX, etc. We have never claimed to be journalists or to stick to journalistic ideals. We do not author the articles, nor do we always agree with them, we simply find terrorism news articles we think you may want to read and send you links to them... because you have subscribed and asked us to. It's up to you to decide whether or not you believe the content of those articles, and we are not shy about telling you to be careful about whether you believe what the media tells you. However if we think an article is relevant, and of interest to our readers, then we are going to include it in our alerts regardless of who it makes look bad... even if that means making President Bush look bad, or John Kerry, the FBI, or the Department of Homeland Security.

TerroristWarning.com does not receive any funding, advice, guidance, or support of any kind from any political or government entity, or any special interest groups, in this or any country. The War on Terrorism is bigger than President Bush or Kerry, it will be here longer than Bush or Kerry will be in office. If you think our alerts are too partisan for your taste please unsubscribe and find some other service which tells you only the parts of the story you want to hear instead of TerroristWarning.com which attempts to show you the bigger picture, in a format that lets you decide which articles to read and believe for yourself.

Sincerely,

Morgan Clements

For those of you who don't know, terroristwarning.com sends out emails to subscribers (it is free, just sign up on their website) to alert them of terrorist activity and alerts. It is pretty good. Today they sent links to us about the Iranians funding Kerry and I guess they took some flack for it...lol too bad, but at least terroristwarning.com openly supports President Bush!
