It's the right thing to do, but it will have some backlash. I know more angry 20-somethings (grown children) who resent being raised catholic and are now liberals just out of spite. Only a few folks that age I know are still faithful.
Many 20 something catholics go through that stage .. they will come around in time
My mother use to tell my brothers, sisters and I.. You will need you faith, before your faith needs you.
