Disqualified Applicants Say They Were Misled (10/15/04 - Painesville, Ohio) Lake County officials say more than half of 111 applicants disqualified from casting absentee ballots in the upcoming election say they were misled by the volunteers who registered them. Lake Prosecutor Charles Coulson says some applicants say they were told by canvassers that they were agreeing to put a political sign in their yard or just getting permission to vote from home.
But records show forms signed by the applicants were each labeled "Application for Absent Voter's Ballot" in bold print at the top. The Lake County elections board requested that Coulson and Sheriff Dan Dunlap investigate 152 absentee voter applications and 18 first-time voter registrations. Coulson said he would pursue a criminal investigation of some registration workers.
fraud ping
Party affiliations not mentioned. Hmmmmm.....
Its almost comical. Acorn has been registering as has NAACP and most if not all have errors
it is frightening to see the level to which these people will stoop and what is more frightening is that their hero could actually win an election because of it.
Only D's can't read!
Ping!
Ohio is going to be a nightmare on election night. Provisional ballots must be given to those who dont have a clue where they are suppose to voting, ACT, Acorn & NAACP turning in questionable registrations, the UK is writing to Ohio voters in an attempt to sway voters to vote Kerry. I have feeling we are going to make the Florida fiasco look sane
More of the DNC handiwork?
Dave did you know of any body who made it to see Edwards today.
I caught a little bit on the news, Fox8 showed a few minutes and only gave a few highlights. They did mention that "Kerry has a plan" in asking for 2 years of public service in exchange for 4 years of college, but wont call it a draft.
There was a woman petting my Dachhunds the other week. I wonder if Greta and Murphy are registered to vote? They have a license, a computer implant and can follow simple orders. That should make them eligible in liberal standards.
> "Kerry has a plan" in asking for 2 years of public service
> in exchange for 4 years of college, but won't call it a draft.
It was originally a mandated period of service in order to
get a high school diploma, but K+E have disappeared that
page from the official web site. See:

It's a solid bet that these two tyrant wannabees support
mandatory, no quid-pro-quo Universal National Service,
which will arrive in the draft legislation that Kerry
will HAVE to have, because enlistments will dry up.
HR 163 was a UNS bill. Completely open-ended. Young
voters need to forget about the draft hoax, but worry
deeply about UNS.
Most Ohio counties have your registration information online.
Might be wise to check for errors

According to John Fund in his new book, our indolence will do us in, as more states pass laws allowing absentee ballots for no reason except convenience. I believe it is now 20 states that allow absentee for any reason or no reason, and still 30 that require a good reason.
I recommend this book for anyone who needs to stay awake. Your eyes will be bugging out after the first chapter.
I'll have to make a trip to the library this weekend
After watching John Fund on Brit Hume tonight as well as the panel discussion later, I have a lot of trepidation about whether or not this election will be legitimate.
The Dims and the lawyers are likely going to be the death of America as we know it.
I pray that God will prevent that from happening.
Bush has to win by a decisive enough margin to make it not worth the trouble for the lawyers to challenge the counts. The Dems are pulling out every illegal stop, so a decisive victory will be more difficult than it would be in a normal close race.
"The Dims and the lawyers are likely going to be the death of America as we know it."

Let's hope there is enough of a point spread to put these filthy criminals out of business fixing elections....
