"Funny that the article doesn't mention if all the registration cards were from republicans"

---It's obvious that it was republican because if it had been democrats they would have thew their collective heads back and howled and it would have been the lead story until Nov 2

The clock is winding down. Tell everyone you know.
______________________________

Subject: Will you be turned away on November 2nd?

This email is unfortunately not a hoax or urban legend.
Share it with any people whose votes you care about.
This is particularly important in "battleground" states.

1. Register in person

Unless you registered to vote in person at an official
location, you may not be registered, or you may have a
defective registration. You need to verify your voter
registration status in person with your local elections
office.

2. Verify it

There is some chance that even if you were properly
registered, and even voted in the primaries, someone
has since tampered with (filed a change on) your
registration, either to enable someone else to vote
as you, or just to deny your vote. Verify your
registration. Do this now.

3. Look for abuse

If you gave personal information to a door-to-door,
telephone or web "get-out-the-vote" operation, there
may be fictional voters signed up as members of your
family or as unrelated people living at your address.
When you verify, ask who else is registered at your
address, or with your same name.

4. Vote as early as possible

If your locale allows it, you need to consider voting
absentee, and as early as possible, to forestall the
ability of someone else to impersonate you and steal
your vote. Register directly with the issuing office,
and not through a third party.

If you vote actual absentee, by mail, Use Registered
mail, with Return Receipt. Hand-carry if you can.

Although the legacy media is not eager to report it, the
2004 election promises to include significant levels of
vote fraud. Ineligible voters, multiple voters, voter
impersonation (vote theft) and registration interference
have all been reported.

3rd-party registration drives cannot be trusted with
something as important as your vote.

Innocent error is possible with any group, but the more
radical organizations are actually invalidating or simply
not filing the registrations of voters not sympathetic
to their candidate. They are also creating additional
fictional registrations based on real addresses, names
and other personal info.

You need to take steps to ensure that your vote counts,
and that information about you is not being used to
enable fraudulent votes.

I honestly think Dubya will beat Kerry by 10 full points.

10 full points for the pubs would be more like 20 points when counting only live legal voters.

If you don't mind a bit of advice from the gallery.

In Australia it is the responsibility of the voter to personally register with the Australian Electoral Commission. - no problem

"ACORN again. These guys keep surfacing in vote fraud articles around the country."

Can't there be some type of Vote Fraud Conspiracy charged against ACORN at the Federal level?

If you go to the ACORN web site and click on the who we are section, you will see that they are affiliated with several unions and that they are willing to flaunt the law to advance their agenda. My guess is that these are the same people that have been attacking the GOP headquaters across the country.

Why can't folks register the old-fashioned way? Go to a public place (library, county courthouse, city hall) and not have to declare party alliance. All this registration "help" needs to be outlawed. When I registered for the first time, it was at a Village Hall. I had to raise my hand and swear that I filled out the form truthfully and they verified my address to make sure I was in the right precinct.

I agree, people need to be doing some hard time over these kinds of crime.

If I fly on an airline I am forced to show a photo ID. If a policeman stops me for a traffic violation I am forced to produce a photo driver's license proving who I am. Yet when I vote an 80 year old women who can hardly see doesn't ask me for a photo ID. In fact she doesn't ask me for ANY ID at all. When I produce my voter registration card she says I do not need it and she doesn't want to see it (as if she could see anyway!)

She simply asks me who I am and says sign here. I have never had one of these old bags ever take the register and compare my signature with the original on file. They simply hand you a card and in you go.

This is what passes for voting in Pennsylvania. Philadelphia is worse. Blacks are given money and driven from preceinct to precinct to vote dead people they've registered. Philly union thugs prevent you from entering polling places until you've told them which party you are voting for (Dem get in, Reps get their cars vandalized or beat up. Since the Dems control all precincts Rep ballots are either tossed or electronically deleted.

These are our Great Americans. Thieves, thugs, criminals who destroy honesty. All for patronage, graft, bribery and extortion. And sitting on top of the Pennsylvania cake is the biggest crook of them all, ED Rendell, the smarmiest, dirtiest, filthiest crook of them all. What a state! What pathetic excuse these people are for Americans.

He told police he missed the deadline so he didn't bother submitting them. "At that point in time I got lazy and just kept them in the back of my car," the charging documents quote him as telling authorities.

Very plausible explanation. Likely could be just as he says. I mean, if you forget or jell out and don't turn them in, what do you do?

They caught this one... but how many more of them are out there getting away with it!!!!

Judge Napolitano said today, that unless the person is a state employee, they are under no obligation to turn in voter registration forms. They were discussing party employees that are registering voters and throwing away people who are other than their party affiliation.
