"There was an indicator light that came on." That would be the "Doofus Onboard" warning flasher.

Hmmmmm.....Baron Von Richthoven flies again, or was it Snoopy?

Wendy Edwards needed to move the center of the plane.

I believe there are some FAA-mandated mods required for any plane carrying Mrs. Edwards, mostly things like additional cargo strap attachment points and beefed-up landing gear.

All you have to do to pass Ted Kennedy on a bridge is stay on the bridge.

What? When Democrats are threatened, they eat their young. Well sort of, they have no problem with human sacrifice.

Because the dumbass non-pilots on this forum have simply no clue what they're talking about, let me tune up these aviation geniuses. An aborted takeoff, also known as a rejected takeoff (RTO), can be initiated prior to V1 (known as the go-nogo decision speed) for any number of reasons. Since nobody has identified the type of aircraft involved, I'm going to assume that it was either a turbofan or a turbojet airplane that has a variety of warning systems to alert the pilot that there is an emergency with any number of the myriad amount of systems. In other words, a fire in the engine, a failure of the ignition system or a blowout of the tires (prior to achieving the high speed regime of 80 knots) is cause for the pilot to initiate an RTO and
is part of the recurrent training that all jet pilots are required to take every six months. The pilot did his job and that's all I care about.
Flame on.
