Bush and Kerry Tied in New Jersey 46-46.
The wildcat Cheney was just in Jersey. Laura Bush and Guiliani were also recently there. Sounds like they bumped the poll a few notches. amazing. Jim Mcgreevey is also doing his part.
He's there to get the crowd in pics for the reporters in the state to cover him. It's the news coverage he's after which may say a lot that he can't go other places.
I dare say, I doubt the black vote will be there for him like Clinton/Gore
Philadelphia has been stacked with voter registrations. Be afraid.
Correct. Keep the beer and crack comin.
I'm not if you look at the polls two weeks ago and then now you will see the majority of the swing states breaking towards the President. That clearly is the trend. Things are really looking very good for President as itr appears historical data says he wins.
>>Id love to see a surprise visit to california by bush if there is any chance at winning that state... <<
I think I have a better chance of winning the lottery, but I'll keep my fingers crossed. I live in California, and I don't think Bush has a prayer here. At least not in most of northern California.
Out of money? Yeah, right. You are forgetting who he is and what he represents. Don't get to giddy.
He won't get that much news coverage at Xenia. The crowd will be small, and the Dayton Daily will cover him, but not the Columbus Post Dispatch. It's a defensive move. BTW, I just double checked with my wife, an OH native and who bikes frequently in that area: she confirms, it's like Bush going to Springboro. Interestingly, though, she said even in Xenia she sees a surprising number of Bush/Cheney signs. If Bush has support in Xenia, Francois doesn't have a hope in hell of carrying Ohio.
Don't forget last Octobers surprise.
That's EXACTLY my take. He's not in the regions where there are "undecideds" or votes in play. He's going to a completely safe district. . . once. Edwards will be here next week, but it certainly isn't a 24-hour campaign that I'd expect if Kerry is hinging his entire bid on winning OH---which is his only hope.
Well, you asked for it:
KARL ROVE PHONE NUMBER AT THE WHITE HOUSE:
202-456-2369
And pass the Kool Aid.
Guess the reports that Kerry has not sealed the deal with his core of black voters are correct.
That will be the final desperate ploy by the Dems pundits...Concede by next weekend that Bush has this thing wrapped up, in the hopes it will make his supporters overconfident and they'll neglect to vote.
Liz, it ain't free. It comes at great cost of time and campaign funds, and Xenia is NOT a place that will generate "buzz" like Bush's visit to northern Cincy did a couple of weeks ago. I see it as totally defensive, just to make the media think he's still competitive here. Same with that inane leak that he was "ahead" by five points in his "internals." Maybe in the "internals" of goat entrails, but not in polls. Not here.
A lot of mobile homes there, huh?
If your saying it's predomnently black, the that would go with the polls showing kerry support there 10% lower than Gore had.
Wish the Dispatch would do a poll.
RU sure he is out of money?
