I called it in February on this blog:
http://freedomstruth.blogspot.com
... BUSH WINS BY 8 POINTS, see:
http://freedomstruth.blogspot.com/2004_02_01_freedomstruth_archive.html
And I got the reasoning and issues right too.
Now, we have to get out there and MAKE IT HAPPEN. That's right - our efforts can make history.
I had held that same view but recently became less sure and I am very happy to see your predictions and agree with them.
We have to remember that Kerry hasn't finished flaying about yet and could well damage himself even more in his desparation. Also, the Swifties haven't launched their last ad and we understand it will be a dandy.
Frankly, Koppel didn't help Kerry last night and likely caused him harm. Hope those Dems keep trying - the more they do the more self-inflicted wounds they incur (sound familiar ? no purple heart this time.
I am about the same with my estimate. I do want a sound thrashing of the Libs so there can be NO lawsuits by them
However - the Art Bell side of me thinks even then the election will not be over. I read at various Lib web sites how they will go for impeachment ("he lied!") should Georgie win.
This is not an election but a bloodless war for America, honestly.
A complete surprise to the media and pollsters.
Sounds like as good a plan as any...count me in!!
FReegards...MUD
Color MN and NM red. And keep an eye out on OR. Bush might just break through the Democrat hold on the Left Coast to the Pacific.
We lose PA and Ohio we are tied at 269.
www.electoral-vote.com also calls it for Bush, and has been doing so for some time, and the projection (other than a little pucker for Kerry after the first debate) was 318 for Bush.
The Dim running that site actually does a pretty good job IMHO, but has now stopped linking to the projected final result map page. He still compiles it, but doesn't put the pointer up. ;')
Don't assume PA will go Democratic. The Bush/Cheney volunteers are working like hell to put the state in the red column.
even if its this way, they will still go to court in 10 states and try to steal it
If Stolen Honor gets some real play time it may be bigger than I can hope for...NJ NM still in play IMO..I live in Calif and got polled tonight, first time ever..seems they only wanted to know about the Pres and Ca. Senate race
Boxer vs Jones...
HUGE controversy and the left tries to steal it, possibly violence
I like the map. but would take Pa. out because of the large number or urban voters (remember Philly in 2000, where some precincts had more votes than voters?) I think NM will go Bush barring a large snowstorm that kept hundreds from voting Bush in 2000. Outside chance in Minn. (remember senate upset in 02) and NJ (They might just get crazy enough to throw out the corrupt dems!)
Considering how close this race (supposedly) is, that prediction is quite ambitious.
democrat cousin catholic in NJ guarantees that W will carry his state. he says the union workers have had it with kerry and the dems. he speaks for a lot of irish catholics in his realm of influence. nonames but I trust he will be right.
at best it will be a nailbiter for kerry.
at worst, a total 'somebody left the cake out in the rain' for the democrat liberals in NJ.
cousin and his union buddies almost always vote dem.
not this time.
or so I have been told.
Bush 284, Kerry 254
