What he is not saying is that he would be the one to institue it.

I think the only "draft" is the one in the seat of Kerry's pants where he keeps blowing air.

Kerry is the only candidate advocating *MORE* troops in Iraq.

How dare he! The truth is if he's elected, there will be a military crisis of epic proportions. Who in their right mind would ever want to salute that guy? Think about it. Your Father or Grandfather was in Vietnam and the man you're reporting to called them baby killers. It would be a mess.

John's desperation is showing. Stand back and watch him flame out.
To: NewMediaFan
Smells desperate. Hopefully it's a trend.
To: NewMediaFan
He's going increase troop levels by 40,000 and he is after Bush?...Good grief!

Your Father or Grandfather was in Vietnam and the man you're reporting to called them baby killers.Maybe Kerry just doesn't consider that an insult. After all, many of his best supporters ARE baby killers.
To: NewMediaFan
Keep it up Kerry. Bush can now say that by admission and constant references, Kerry is for the Draft. Bush must state this to his young base!!!!!!!

Dan Lungren (running for congress in the Sacramento area) said this morning on KTKZ (Eric Hoage) that our military and our weapons systems are so specialized and technical now that we can't afford to simply take people off the streets and plug them into the army. The time it would take to effectively train a new draftee would render them useless for any significant service.
So, this is more bovine exhaust from John F-lopsweat Kerry.

Kerry Says Bush Plan Could Lead to DraftAs long as Bush is reelected, there won't be a draft. If skerry gets elected, heaven forbid, he WILL have to reinstitute a draft, because most (I for one) in the military would get out. Not many would serve the military with him as POTUS.

Kerry is spinning like a top.
One of the ladies who was doing Phone Bank work with me told me that her son had to WAIT until January to get to boot camp because there are so many enlistees!
Of course, information like that doesn't make it to
ABCNNBCBS!

...and the only ones who voted for it when it was brought up in the House.
What angers me is that Kerry brings this up, knowing it's a lie, but figuring that the people whom he appeals to are so frickin' stupid that they're not going to know any better. I detest these people!
