Did anybody listen to Rush's conversation with a Mrs. Dorothy Asdale.
The gist of the story is that Mrs. Asdale was quoted in a Will Lester AP column as being swayed by kerry, when her only news "information" was Rush Limbaugh because that was the only radio station that comes in clear in Yuma, AZ.
Well Ms. Asdale was contacted by Rush and she appeared on the program.
There were some niceities and then Ms. Asdale explained why she was voting for kerry, it was because of immigration.
She admitted that kerry didn't answer the question about immigration, but since Bush did answer the question, she was voting against Bush.
Ms. Asdale said she has been registered Republican, democrat, and now is independent.
She also admitted that she voted twice for Clinton, and for Gore.
Can anybody say setup for the AP.
Rush is on a 1 hour delay here in Austin, so I will listen when she is on later. I'll try to fill in any questions.
I'd say this gal better get to an eye doctor before the election. She needs more help than Rush can give her, if she thinks skerry is better looking.
This tends to confirm that the game show Street Smarts and the tonight show Jaywalking segments aren't setups but accurate reflections of some minds out there.
So what's changed with this woman. She is a liberal and always will be a liberal because she has no reasoning.
I just heard Rush talking about Ted Koppel's Nightline piece from Vietnam about Kerry's silver star incident.
Koppel ends the piece by saying that they are obligated to report what they find and not withhold information.
My question for Ted Koppel is:
Did you find the War Heroes Museum?
Did you not even research while there thoroughly enough to find out about the tribute to John Kerry there?
Did you knowingliy withhold information about it in your report?
I wonder if there are any forged documents she'd like to endorse?
But the morons get to cast the deciding vote, unfortunately.
Just exactly what is an undecided, likely voter? I keep hearing about them in polls.
I heard her. "He looked Presidential." Well, I can only say -- anyone can buy a black suit and get a $250 hairDO. My son calls those old liberal women "Commie Grannies." And she is from San Fran??? Once a liberal, always a liberal, to be sure. It was great that he flushed her out, tho. 'Undecided,' NOT. What is Kerry's stand on immigration?? Isn't it Open the Borders????
There you go again. Trying to add facts to the mix!
For those persuadable voters who tuned in, the debates offered an extensive look at the two leading presidential candidates.
For 83-year-old Dorothy Van Asdale, of Yuma, Ariz., the debates offered a firsthand look at a Democratic candidate she knew about mostly through the narrative of conservative radio commentator Rush Limbaugh.
"I listen to Rush Limbaugh when I'm in my car," she said. "We can only get one radio station really clear around here. It's so negative. I never heard a good thing about Kerry."
But when she tuned in to the presidential debates, she "liked Kerry's presence. I liked the way he spoke."
They were hoping Rush would ignore the liar, oops, lady!
Kudos Rush!
Anyone who is still undecided is either an idiot or won't vote anyway.
Could you please change the title to Dorothy Van Asdale.
Agreed...many of them on the Democrat side...they can't even answer who the VP of the U.S. is...
This woman was a dim plant. She lied to Rush about voting for Bush's dad, admitted to voting for klintoon twice, and admitted that before she retired and moved to Arizona she lived and worked in San Francisco. I believe she said she was a TEACHER IN SAN FRANCISO! Wanna bet she was an NEA activist?
LLS
Excuse me, Mrs. Asdale, but have you ever served as a secretary for any Lt. Cols in the National Guard? If you had typed any memos from Lt. Bush's CO about him in the 70's, what WOULD you have written?
