It had to kill Adam Clymer to see this. This is *that* Clymer, correct?
I'd like to see Paul Krugman and Maureen Dowd opine on this topic. It'd be laughable, and priceless.
Ping. Unsurprising news, but glad to have it documented.
I'm sure this tidbit has not escaped the legions of Rat attorneys who are standing by to disenfranchise any and everything even remotely possible.
Support the troops. Give them the commander and chief
they prefer 3 to 1. George Bush.
Rush was talking about some poll of people who thought Kerry won the debate, but were still going to vote for Bush. Did anyone catch what poll it was or where it was reported?
You know, I heard a laughable theory from a leftist friend of mine the other day, and this seems like a good thread to share it. Apparently, the latest theory leftists have goes something like this:
"Sure, most of the military SEEMS to be for Bush, but do you know how those surveys are done? The guys are in the same room together, and "peer pressure" from their superior officers forces them to indicate they like Bush more, even though they really don't like Bush at all."
It's amazing what levels of conspiracy leftists will believe in when it comes to discounting positive news for the president, isnt it?
It's a Military Thing, FortySeven:
Your leftist friend just wouldn't understand.
having been Active AF from 1972 to 1976. Then Reserve from 1976 to present. I (and millions others) don't want John Kerry anywhere near the White House.
We got hosed by a talented amateur with Clinton. I don't even want to think about how badly Kerry would F-up and F-over those in uniform today!
Jack.
He clearly needs to spend some time here:

George W. Bush will be reelected by a margin of at least ten per cent
Election 2004 threads on FR
Trick is, those votes are gonna have to be fished out of a dumpster before they're tallied.
Yep, winning a debate is NOT the same as winning the war on terror.
I heard some student on C-SPAN last night called his age group the "9/11 generation" I hadn't heard this before but it really struck me that even the young people get it.
He said he was a liberal when he left, and an arch conservative when he came home.
He's working like crazy to make sure his Commander in Chief gets reelected.........as is my son.

there are two members of the military in my house voting for Bush. Myself and my wife.
And yes she does out rank me at home and in uniform haha.
I'm waiting for Nightline to ID some Vietcong Kerry supporters in Samarra and Baghdad.
I got a kick out of this! My Mom and Dad(retired Marine, now deceased), had a funny saying. It went like this: "He was the commander at work; she was the commander in the kitchen!). Your post reminded me of this for some reason!
I winder how John Kerry is taking it now?
