I've been stating this over and over! How can Americans vote for a man who has his picture in the Communist War Musuem in Ho Chi Minh City as helping to defeat America. The world has gone crazy. And throwing his medals/ribbons (who can believe him) away and his testimony. How can he even be TIED with Dubya? God help us.

Why read the transcript when you can see the program (complete with commercials) yourself?

I was really hoping that the witnesses weren't there to support O'Neil - it concerned me that peasants would remember one specific day out of thousands and a handful of vets out of thousands during the many years of that war.

It was just too far-fetched and I was concerned about the wisdom.

I was relieved when I read the witnesses were Communists supposed to be the Kerry support!

Yes exactly.... Nightline stunk. Why take the word of Communists over the word of 280 Vets? And then there's the mystery of Kerry's discharge and his reissued medals. John O'Neill raised good questions. Now we know why Kerry won't answer them cause the truth can't help him and the mainstream media is helping him to cover it up. The American people deserved better last night.

I watched Ted last night. O'Neill stayed right on message and answered the questioned but in the context he wanted. Ted tried hard to keep everything to his agenda. It was good to see a "guest" try to keep one of Hanoi's running dogs in line.

O'Neill's last paragraph, above, is fascinating. I have hypothesized this for months and believe there is good circumstantial evidence to support it. But, I haven't found direct evidence. I hope O'Neill will spring what he has in a timely manner and on a good news day. The ultra-left wing media will gladly spend all day on Michael Jackson's hangnail if it meant not covering proof of Viet Cong Kerry's termination from the USNR under other than honorable conditions.

And, of course, in view of Kerry's refusal to be honest with America and release his military records, any ideas why he would do so is fair game. Note an extension, not only is he hiding something so terrible, negative and unAmerican that it's release would cause him to lose the election, it would also require his to resign from the Senate.

If he's in the Communist Museum, then how can Koppel say these peasants don't know anything about him?

That makes no sense. He's running for the President of the US, and Koppel's witnesses are Communists.

Does he think the man who has business in Vietnam wouldn't have contact with them, or is he saying they can't read?

This makes no sense.

"once we've checked things as thoroughly as we can, we're in the business of reporting what we learned, not concealing it."

BS! Here's the TRUTH

"instead of sitting down to interview some of the 280 plus members of our Swift Boat organization, ABC News chose to travel to Vietnam taking extraordinary and highly suspect steps to find someone to corroborate John Kerry's story."

I have read that JF'nK's brother, Cameron, was awarded contracts with Hanoi just after JF'nK's whitwash of the Vietnam POWs congressional committee review in the 90s. Was the included in Mr. Koppel's NightLine report?

Yes, you have, which is of course why I pinged you. Off the top of my head, I wanted you to see this and see my offer.

O'Neil and the Swifties have so far been very disciplined about their charges, limiting their charges to eyewitness accounts or documents.

I doubt O'Neil would abandon that discipline at this time.

In "Unfit for Command" they have pictures of that picture (Jane Fonda is in there too)in the War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City. And also witnesses who went in there more than once just to make sure and to take the above stated pictures. I know, I find it totally unbelievable. I think the Swiftees should have put THAT in one of their ads (maybe they did and I didn't see it). If you have a chance, read (even at the library) "Unfit for Command", powerful, powerful stuff.

I've been avoiding the dishonorable discharge line of attack also but this is very interesting. It also occurs to me that what has the White House always, repeatedly said when asked about the President's guard service? He received an Honorable Discharge and thats proves it. Anyone think Karl Rove has been playing chess rather than checkers on this one and been setting up his Oct. surprise for a while now?

And the beat goes on, and the beat goes on, and the beat goes on, and the beat goes on. (Thank you Sonny)

It's "whack a mole" in the media time. I only offer this unsolicited opinion because I believe it so strongly:

KERRY WILL BE OUTED-HIS RECORDS LEAKED, AND IT WILL HAPPEN BEFORE 02NOV.

In fact, if I had a web-site and PayPal, I would already be running the futures market on this event.

Thanks for posting that. Ted Koppel and ABC really bent over backwards to ignore & diminish the Swift Boat Veterans while helping Kerry.

But it's still not working.
