[snip]My experiences as a combat surgeon in Vietnam (Dec. 10, 1967 to Dec. 11, 1968) and also as a forensic consultant for the past two decades, however, lead me to the conclusion that Mr. Kerry's first Purple Heart award is his most serious problem. The recent revelation of the use of falsified documents (by CBS and Dan Rather) might not be the first time such a technique has been used. During Mr. Kerry's four-month tour in Vietnam, which he presents as his principal qualification to be president of the United States, his application for his first Purple Heart award was disapproved by both his commanding officer and the doctor who evaluated his wound. Yet he somehow managed to get that award. How?
[snip]
If Mr. Kerry fails to clear up before the election the question about how he got his first Purple Heart, voters intending to vote for him must consider the possibility that they could be voting for a man who might, sooner or later, be shown to have falsified his naval records to obtain a medal he didn't deserve which is a federal crime. The fact that he used that medal to get out of Vietnam after only four months while the rest of us served our full year would greatly magnify the disgrace of such a crime. I think that every American citizen would find a replay of the impeachment of a sitting president to be extremely distasteful.
Dr. Martin L. Fackler served as a combat surgeon in Vietnam.

How about all his Purple Hearts? Good article, btw.
Sad, isn't it? More and more people are getting fed up with the Democrats and their tactics. I wouldn't be surprised if Bush wins by a landslide.
I can think of a something of Kerry's that's purple, thanks to teresa's death grip around em'.
What crime or misdemeanor would he be impeached with? Lying? Been there done that, everybody lies, havent you heard? Felony? How long ago? What is the statute of limitations? If Klintoon couldn't get convicted, what would we do with this one? The vote on shooting Senators might get the Senators riled up though. Course he'd say "I are one now."
Thanks for the ping, Misty!
Mass e-mailing. :-)
Heehee, this is like the fourth time I've mentioned this on various posts. My daughter called yesterday and asked if it was too late to register to vote. Her bf and she watched the debate and were so disgusted with Kerry that they want to vote for Bush. Amazing. Six months ago they said they weren't interested in the elections. I told her to contact the registrar of voters ASAP.
How many more feel the same way? I wonder if there is a way to find statistics on new voter registration since the debates?
I think Bush is going to win. I'm hoping for a landslide to not only send a message to the liberals, but also to keep them from accusing Republicans of voter fraud like they did last time.
Hmmmm. I don't think he hurt his butt this time. It was a tiny sliver in his arm, I believe. The one that needed a bandaide.
LOL! Better add Ted Koppel to that list! :)
backhoe -- don't miss this!
You are welcome, radu. Send those emails all over the place!
Wanna bet? tick tock tick tock...

- Ronald Reagan
- George Herbert Walker Bush

- George W. Bush
The Democrats keep nominating rapists, charlatans, liars, and traitors.
BTTT!!!!!!!!
Not just his first PH, but all three.
IMHO, sKerry will not release this info before the election. Which makes me wonder why ANYONE would vote for him. Oh, yeah, right. I forgot... anybody but Bush. Fools!
> I think Bush is going to win.
Obviously, he will. If Kerry and Dukakis weren't paid to lose, they earned their money in full anyway.
Good thing Bush had such a weak opponent, it is astounding Kerry could be anywhere close as much as he shoots himself in the foot every time he opens his mouth.
Thanks- missed it!
