Sometimes there are two sides on the same coin. I am not a fan of the RICO laws or the Patriot Act. I concede the importance of the PA in catching terrorists and preventing future terrorist attacks. But not to recognize the abuse of power potential in the Patriot Act would be a mistake. I would add a corollary to the list: You may be a kook if you don't recognize the potential for government to use the Patriot Act as an invasion of our privacy and that it constitutes an unconstitutional abuse of power.

Seriously Rush, they are. bin-Laden saw what Arafat got from the Norwegians in '94. The fun-loving al-Qaeda folks just want to take their place in history by perpetuating their tolerant and peaceful ways...maybe getting their recognition from the Norwegian committee.
