I would urge a lot of caution on these matters. People throw out comments, those comments get embellished and it's very difficult to know who is at fault.
I'm not a die-hard fan of O'Reilly, but he deserves his day in court just like anyone else.
This is not a claim that he couldn't be guilty of this, but rather a suggestion that we let this play out until it's a lot more clear who's playing games here.
If O'Reilly did something inappropriate, he should pay the piper.
Why?
Why do we have such a law? Is the alleged inequality of status between master and servant so disproportionate that we should change centuries of experience in dealing with these matters and create a whole new body of "he said/she said" litigation to titilate the prurient among us and render every social and business interaction a minefield?
Should we have let the feminazis do this to us? To O'Reilly, because he is "inappropriate?" I think heis probably a pig and worse, but I do not want Brit Hume, or Tony Snow, or myself, or you to be the next victim in this Salem witch hunt.
Dare I say "McCarthyism?"
I agree. I am not a big Oreilly fan.
But the fact that this woman went back to work there.....gotta wonder if here atty told her..."we just get ya back in there.....and you start screaming"
If he screwed up..then he'll pay.
If he did not.....look for Soros behind this.
