They interviewed a bunch of people in Vietnam, who knew EXACTLY what happened on a particular day some 30 years ago, and exactly what Kerry did and so testified.
And if anyone believes this, I have lots of bridges to sell.
I think ABC is going to try to paint O'Neill as a liar, confronting him with the "strong evidence", the testimony of a bunch of people in Vietnam, who have no reason to remember one particular day versus another 30 years later.
ABC is willing to take the word of those people, but are not willing to take the word and evidence presented by 60 US true war heroes.

I knew this would be a hit piece...Ted cant even vouch for them and they present this as a news report.
O'Neill bitch slapping Koppel. But Koppels report doesn't even square with Kerrys story. It damns Kerry as a liar. The "witnesses" say the the VC was killed in the opening volley which means the .50 gunner got him, not Jhengis Johnny.
O'Neill calling Nightline report pathetic getting interviewing witnesses from a closede country. He is also citing the Boston Globe book which backs the SwiftBoat Vets information.
INtelligently ABC/DNC focuses on the Silver Star incident. It's the Swiftee's weakest point - which is why it is selectively attacked.
