> An excruciatingly bad moment for Kerry.
Which most of his extemporaneous moments seem to be.
When Kerry goes off-script, he creates quotes for
political commentators, if not RNC commercials.
but... according to the online polls, Kerry won the debate!
And all of the Democrat spokesmen this morning were saying that Kerry looked presidential... how could that happen if he was so crass and unseemly?
I don't get it. Its like maybe they saw a different debate than we did... and the online polls, how do they all favor Kerry if he did so bad?
Not as bad as being asked about his wife and talking about his mother.
"I watched that on replay last night. An excruciatingly bad moment for Kerry."
Yup. Dead silence! Then later when people did laugh it was an awkward laugh. I felt bad for him in a way. Poor guy can't even be funny. Plus I'm sure Terezza beat the crap out of him once she got him alone.
Yeah but it left the moderator giggling like a schoolgirl.
On CNN, Greenfield and Aaron Brown were all gushy about that moment, saying it was a "good sign" that Kerry could be humorous about his marriage. They just loved the whole debate from Kerry's side anyway. All smiles at CNN, and giving the debate, again, to Kerry.
Kerry though has one skill...debating. He is better than Gore at it and better than Pres. Bush. If people vote for a good debater, then he's their man. Honesty, facts, sincerity, etc, all seem irrelevant to those who flaunt a debating skill!
