KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Federal agents raided an Islamic charity based in Columbia Wednesday afternoon.

FBI agents from Kansas City joined with others to mount a raid on the Islamic American Relief Agency in downtown Columbia.

An FBI spokesman said that this is part of an ongoing criminal investigation involving the Internal Revenue Service and state and local agencies.

So far, no arrests have been made and no charges have been filed.

BTW -The public schools in Columbia have a special Prayer Room set aside for Muslim students to say their prayers during the day. I wonder if the Christian kids have a chapel they can go do?

Probably not. Columbia has been tied to both OBL and Saddam long before this. A cell phone purchased here (in Columbia) was tied to the Kenya embassy bombing. Also, Saddam's germ lady was educated at MU. Columbia has (for its size) a large muslim population and has had a very active local mosque for years.

A relative in Columbia told me that the local papers mentioned that
something like 50 Muslim students evaporated "overnight" from the
UM Columbia campus after 9-11.

When our guvmint was making some "America is friendly to Muslims" propaganda
commercials after 9-11, the lead interview was with a Muslima at UM-Columbia
that talked about what a great place it was.

Actually the student tied to OBL was at Columbia College -- a local private institution -- and not at MU. But the community is -- as you might expect with 3 colleges -- very liberal. It is in rural mid-Missouri and is a liberal oasis. Probably a great place for Muslims to hang out and remain out of the line of sight.

50 years ago there would have been no Islamic charity in Missouri, the system the FBI works for brought them here in the first place. They caused the problem and now we're supposed to feel grateful that they cleaned up one small part of it. They're like the mob, pretending to be benefactors because they keep a few muggers out of some neighborhoods.
