I need mainstream media quotes proving their shilling for Kerry!

Posted on 10/14/2004 12:15:34 AM PDT by watsonfellow

Help. I am building a blog and need to find the following quotes.

Evan Thomas of Newsweek saying that the media is pumping for Kerry and that it's worth ten to fifteen points.

Any other quotes would help?

Isn't CBs's forgery enough for starters? Six years of investigations and all they brought back was a lousy forgery?

Oh for cryin' out loud!

Just go to NYTimes.com, LATimes.com, washingtonpost.com, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, PBS, etc., etc., ad nauseam and collect your fill!

Here's a letter to the editor I wrote on that subject:

The NY Times took a poll of the journalists covering the Presidential campaign. Result: They favor Kerry by three to one overall and twelve to one if they’re stationed in Washington, DC. Does the bias show in their work?

An editor of Harper's magazine wrote a column denouncing the speeches at the Republican Convention. The column accidentally ran before the convention was even held.

The Associated Press reported that President Bush’s supporters booed when he offered wishes for a speedy recovery to former President Clinton. But people who were at the event said the booing never happened and network videotape proved them right. The AP quietly removed the distortion but never acknowledged that their reporters lied.

Now Dan Rather tells us the President didn’t fulfill his Air National Guard duty in 1973. His source turns out to be a rabid Bush-hater from the Army National Guard. The documents on which the story relied turn out to be forgeries. Then we hear the CBS producer involved coordinated with the Kerry campaign on the story.

The result: A September Gallup poll showed only 44% of Americans believe the media report accurately and fairly. They’ve earned our scorn.

I saw a quote attributed to Halperin at ABC but I have not heard it elsewhere and can't say if its true....

"No good news for Bush, no bad news for Kerry"

My Parents made me look into a dictionary or encyclopedia for every question. When high school tried to "school" me (after K-8 parochial) I retreated into Webster and the World Book and ended up labeled as nonconformist and sent off to "alternative" school. Not much better academically but the social make up was a match of drug dealers, drug abusers, gang bangers, savants, deviants and nonconformists.

So all that was left in "regular" school was the jocks and the "popular" girls....

You didn't miss much.

All of the media is biased against Bush except FoxNews, WABC Radio and the NY Post. Chris Mathews should change the name of his show to "Hardball Against Bush". Anyone who makes their decisions based on media reporting are idiots.
