You need Real Player, I'm running version 10 over broadband. Go to wabcradio.com and click on "Listen Live."

It's devastating....but needs to be widely reported. Hannity and Brit could do that.

Yes! And if we tell them Steve gave it airtime then they will too. One up the other guy works every time.

As I recall, it took several days for Hume to report on the Swift Boat Vets (beyond a momentary mention in the Grapevine).

If this story develops a leg, Hume will provide the other one.

Section 3 of Amendment 14 (adopted in 1868) states:

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

"If this story develops a leg, Hume will provide the other one."

Well you know Hume- when Steve covered this on his show he couldn't keep up with all the callers.
I think you might want to take a long look at this story.

heehee!

If the 'Rats win the presidential election and Kerry is prohibited from assuming office due to Section 3 of Amendment XIV, I'll gladly (well, not very gladly) take Edwards instead. And, Kerry would be booted out of the Senate. A presidential pardon by Carter cannot substitute for the Constitutionally required two-thirds vote of each house of Congress. Kerry not in either the White House or the Senate--that's a great price to pay for having to put up with Edwards for four years.

"Hannity and Brit could do that."

Hannity said on his show yesterday that the has the article and needs to further into it further before taking it on air.

(Bet Dan wishes he'd thought of doing that.)

"Forget about the Bush 'october surprise' for a minute - think of what hillary has up her sleves. She didn't run for NY senate just to stay in DC for awhile..."

Hillary wants Kerry to win. Think about it. A Kerry presidency will be horrific. Hillary will run against Kerry in the 2008 primary. Who would a rat rather see in office. Hillary or Kerry?

Hillary has more to lose with Bush in office. If Bush keeps the country moving, in 2008, a Republican would more than likely take the WH. With Kerry, we already know things will get worse. In comes Hillary to rescue the party, with a RAT infrastructure already in place.

I thought Schieffer's giggles were the most bizarre part of the evening-seconded by Kerry's slander of Cheney's daughter.
