Bush Demolishes Kerry; MSM in panic
10/13/04 | Jose Roberto

Posted on 10/13/2004 8:28:10 PM PDT by Jose Roberto

Tonight, President George W. Bush knocked out Liberal Democratic Senator by the end of the first half hour. Being objective, I was concerned tonight about Kerry's so-called mastery in domestic issues. But it would make sense that Bush, a former Governor of one of the largest US states would feel more comfortable in domestic issues than Kerry, who has spent 20 years in the Senate suffering from diarrhea of the mouth without accomplishing anything. I could not believe that Bush was cleaning Kerry's clock so convincingly that even the MSM was left without words. There we saw Chris Matthews screaming and trying to convince his panel (Reagan, Mitchell, Meathan, and Buchanan) that Kerry did "OK" and saying that Bush was "subdued". Over at the Communist News Network (CNN) Blitzer and Greenfield as well as Carlos Watson were giving the debate to Kerry but wondering if it made a difference in the polls. However, Fox News declared a total demolition of Kerry by Bush. Krystol was ebullient and happy, Kondrake was righteous saying that Kerry's outing of Cheney's daughter as a lesbian was a "low blow" and Barnes was ecstatic that Bush saved the best for last. Clearly, Fox News was seen by a wider audience and their veredict carries more weight, but be sure that the MSM is in panic as Bush enters the final phase of the campaign with the upper hand. Congratulations to our heroic President, now on to the campaign to put the Liberal necklace on Kerry and to make him wear it proudly. Liberal liberal liberal.

I have never seen these guys so upset.

You must have missed Carville as he turned the wastecan upside down over his head as FL went to Bush in 2000.

The President looked alive. Kerry looked like The Lurch. Anyway, the fact of the matter is this was Kerry's turf and he looked like he was going through the motions. No conviction and certainly no passion to his views. Superior debater, my ass.

To use the President's line, we should call the "mainstream media" the "left bank media." Bringing up Mary Cheney may have been more costly than "global test" and I hope people see that.

This debate reminded me of the Oakland-Cincinnati 1990 World Series when seemingly the whole world was convinced of an Oakland win, it was just a matter in how many games. The Reds ended up beating Oakland in four straight. People underestimated the Reds and they did with Bush. He was stellar!

I was really and truly excited listening to the debate tonight.

My husband, who truly dislikes Kerry in a way I can't connect with totally (it has to do with a draft number prior to Nixon ending the draft)was even more excited and more vocal than I was tonight.

My husband is a rather calm type person who puts up with my vocal political nature.....but this time around he has become much more vocal than I am.

If Katie is wearing black will be the giveaway. She wore black every day after Bush was elected.

Actually that was the 2002 election when all the liberal media thought the Dems would win big. On NBC, Rush joked about Carville hiding in the trashcans and my Dad laughed for days.

"CNN international coverage is portraying this as a Kerry runaway victory, from before the debate even began."

That's right. The spin on the debate was written days ago. What happened on the stage tonight has nothing to do with what the Socialists, domestic or foreign, have to say.

CNN is the only network declaring a Kerry victory. The other networks are saying the Bush won.

Become a revolutionary for a rational change to how one is allowed to register and vote. Everyone talks about it, then everyone complains about it, or uses it and manipulates it.

It's the undecideds I'm worried about.

Ah, yes, the famous "undecideds." I think you can rest assured these amorphous creatures did one of the following: a) watched the baseball game; b) fell asleep after Kerry's first answer; c) turned the channel once they got a glimpse of Shieffer's ugly face; d) didn't even know there was a debate and e) won't vote anyway, so who cares what they think?

My favorite JFK line was every program he proposed, health care, saving Social Security, Homeland Security and etc will all be paid by rolling back the taxcuts for those who make over $ 200K. I don't think there is enough money to do all he proposed.

I can't believe it, Jesse Jackson was asked about the voter fraud in Colorado by Greta Von Sustern and just said that rich people have other means of influencing the vote, the poor people..... (I don't actually know how he finished it because I was too busy typing, but you get the idea).

All I know is that the people I watched the debate with, were on their feet cheering at the end of the debate. Bush
"put his foot on Kerry's neck" early and never let up. His answers concerning his love for Laura and girls and explaining his faith brought many to tears. What a great man!
BTW, did you see Tereeeeza's face when Kerry talked about his mother....instead of her? Bet she slaps him upside the head again tonight!
