Well, Bush wins solidly (Bill Kristol thinks Bush "slaughtered him"; I'm not sure I'd go that far, but I hope everyone else thinks so), but I'm still back on my heels over the fact that John Kerry actually made a self-deprecating joke, and did it effectively!
Now that the initial shock has worn off a bit, I think the line was scripted in anticipation of an opportunity, but still...this is John Kerry we're talking about.
