>>There are a lot of details, names, dates, times, phone calls, etc. that can easily be checked. For example, O'Reilly urges the plaintiff to get a vibrator, O'Reilly suggests a threesome, etc.

O'Reilly's credibility is shot.<<

I am NO O'Reilly fan, but as someone who has been through this kind of thing and seen others go through it, I believe NOTHING this woman sez until I see evidence.

He is completely innocent in my mind until voice recordings come out. And then those MUST be verified to be his voice.

Remember Clarence Thomas? As one elderly woman said: "He's innocent. How do I know? Simple: Where are the other women?"

This story has a ways to go before I will form an opinion.

I don't know. It's certainly a good question. Perhaps she felt she could keep him at bay? Perhaps she was a CNN plant? Beats me. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

There's something odd here. I'm only speculating, but it could be that she intended to go for a big lawsuit settlement from the get go by encouraging his fetish for telephone sex, getting the juicy parts on tape and editing out the parts that could have implicated her.

They certainly went to dinner together often enough. The "reminded him that he is her boss" thing isn't a very strong response if she truly was, as described in the complaint, "embarrassed".

I don't care for Bill O'Reilly anymore, but something about this doesn't smell right. Reminds me of Anita Hill vs. Clarence Thomas. It makes me sick that women can use the "sexual harrassment" thing against men so easily. She worked with him all those months without complaint, left for CNN and then wanted to return to work for a supposed sexual oppressor? She had the same complaint about another man at CNN? IMO she seems to have serious problems and has now become a willing pawn in a gotcha game against FNC.

Attorney Throw Away his Bar Card for scheme like this?

You have to be kidding. These trial lawyers don't risk their card! Tell me when a rich, famous, democratic trial lawyer last lost his card.

Am I the only one who feels sorry for his wife?

Jeez--he's unfaithful yet now we know alot more intimate stuff about her than is fair--and she's a private citizen. This is bound to do a number of his marriage. He just may get the chance to take all the Fox babes to some hotel in Aruba.

He said that the test for voting for the president is first decide which one the terrorist want elected, and then vote for the other one.

Okay. He was also asked directly by a caller to his radio program, which of the two, Kerry or Bush, would be a better president. O'Reilly said "Neither. Neither will look out for the interests of the little guy."

O'Reilly's appearance on CBS was also revealing about his philosophy and leaning ...

Some folks would expect this reception for O'Reilly, a favorite of conservatives. But what you don't expect are his views, which sound more like they're coming from a Democrat. OReilly says hes pro gun control, against the death penalty, and supports civil unions, not just for homosexuals, but "for everybody."

He says he's for gay adoptions as a last resort: "I'd rather have nice, responsible gay home than the system for kids. What else?"

And about the environment? "Governments gotta be proactive on environment," says O'Reilly. "Global warming is here. All these idiots that run around and say it isn't here. That's ridiculous."

But there's more. He supported President Bush on the war in Iraq, but declared that he would never trust the Bush administration again if no weapons of mass destruction were found.

With none yet found, O'Reilly grilled the president on Saddam Hussein's chemical arsenal in an interview last week that hasn't aired yet.

And Iraq is why the O'Reilly finger is increasingly being pointed at the Bush White House. "A huge mistake was made in underestimating the aftermath of Saddam," says O'Reilly.

"I think Rumsfeld has to take the responsibility there, because he's the defense secretary and it looks like he didn't have a clue that this was gonna happen. But, just like a baseball manager, I think he should take one for the team."

As for the president, O'Reilly says he hasnt made up his mind yet.

"You're going to vote for George W. Bush," asks Wallace. "Oh, yeah," says O'Reilly.

"You think he's a great president, right," says Wallace. "Wrong," says OReilly. "I'm one of those Independent, man. I'm open to be persuaded right away. I've known Kerry for 25 years. He's a patriot. I'm listening to what he has to say."

What does he think about the men from the swift boats who have been bad-mouthing Kerry?

"Awful. It's terrible," says O'Reilly. "It makes me sad that this happens." And one more surprise. He doesn't consider himself part of what he calls "right-wing radio."

What does he think of talk show host Rush Limbaugh?

"I respect Limbaugh for basically making a success out of himself and putting on an entertaining program. But he's not a primary source of information, or shouldn't be," says O'Reilly. "He's an entertainer. I'm a journalist who provides a program that is entertaining."

I can't believe O'Reilly uses a vibrator!

I spewed Dr. Pepper on my keyboard when I read that.

If all of this is not true this woman belongs in jail.

If it is true O'Reilly belongs in a lunatic asylum.

That would be okay for me! I'm a big fan of Laura's too; I listen to her show every morning. :)

I hope her 2 cohorts (Matt & Lee) would be there too.

O'Reilly's credibility is shot.

No it isn't. It might be later if the woman produces convincing evidence.

There are a lot of details, names, dates, times, phone calls, etc. that can easily be checked. For example, O'Reilly urges the plaintiff to get a vibrator, O'Reilly suggests a threesome, etc.

If O'Reilly is telling the truth, and its just an extorsion attempt, then one would expect the accuser to gather some true details like phone records etc, but simply lie about the nature of them.

"if this was a Rat setup, I will go back to watching him, because I am sick and tired of the DNC doing this to anyone who opposes them.(and getting away with it, while their sins go unpunished)"

If??? The DNC have been using coercion and intimidation for decades and gotten away with it. Why do you thik they would stop now? Look at all the Republican headquarters getting targeted and no news on it, look at all of the other garbage occurring and hardly a whisper on the news.
The DNC goon squad is working overtime on this. The woman is a trick tea$e and Bill was their perfect Fall Guy.

Did you read both of their legal papers? She worked first at Fox. She was given a requested raise. She voluntarily went to CNN for even more money. She must be quite the looker because she was sexually harassed by a boss at CNN. She went back to Fox and emailed a friend stating that she was thrilled to be going back. She also got to go back with the CNN salary numbers. She never once approached Fox human resources about the problem. She went straight to a lawyer. It stinks all around.

Yes, I have thought about her. In a private setting, it's humiliating enough. In a public one, it has to be agonizing.

While I know he's married, I don't hear much about his wife.
