Wasn't Hillary only saying the other day that he was doing well. Somehow she related it to John Kerry winning the election -- making it a political thing. Honestly, I hope Clinton starts doing better. I don't wish the man to die.

I believe Billy-Jeff's recovery is predicated on what Shillary's plans are for 2008. Although it will just kill him to sit out of the spotlight during this campaign season - it just wouldn't do to have him help out Lurch with his endeavors now would it.
He might be physically OK, but people often show mental problems after open heart surgery, whther from blood clots or from the various medications. He might not be sharp enough to be seen in public.

I did read this elsewhere on one of the blogs
something about Clinton looks "wan" and that he wants to do some stumping for Kerry but that his doctors and Hillary say he is not ready, that his recovery is going slower than expected
but of course you know we all wonder if Hillary isn't secretly delighted that Bill can't help Kerry this campaign
or that slow recovery is well just a ruse......

What would bed irronic is if he suddenly suffered a massive stroke that caused the loss of movement of his extremeties along with the ability to speak.
