At his age, he should have been up and around 2 weeks ago. The fact that he isn't give this story some credence.

Probably just an excuse to get out of campaigning for the dead horse candidate.

I agree that we haven't heard much of ANYthing. I DID hear though, that he has (had) been taking long walks around Chappaqua--but that was ALL I heard. The reporter commented that he'd soon be in shape to help out with the "I don't even know what Botox is" campaign.

Could be that Bubba's gotten a *head's up* about something unsavory that's fixin' to come to light regarding Mr. Reporting-For-Doodie. Maybe Bubba's Rheumatizz is suddenly acting up. Wouldn't yours?

If he were as ill as O'Reilly is suggesting, surely his wifey would be by his side.

That made me laugh out loud.

Though, I suppose if she had her hand on the cord...

Maybe his old back-scratching friend, Barbra Streisand, could come visit, sing and cheer him up?!

As I told all of you before Clinton's surgery, it will be a long time before he can run around again, maybe never. Our Lord in his majesty, works things in his own way, and he has chosen to send a message to Bill Clinton at the apex of his life, that all is not well with Mr. Clinton and the Lord. Not only will he be physically weaker, but his sex life is going to take a back seat for a few years. I suggest that Bill Clinton do some serious reflection on his life, and his life to come. Having gone through a five artery bypass a number of years ago, I did the same fiddler-on-the-roof routine. If Clinton does not own up, he is a dead man!!!! Believe me, he is paying for his sins as he lives out his life on this earth. The Lord in heaven knows the harm and damage this man has done to this great country of ours.

He'll do better as soon as Kerrie loses.

Do you really think the Clinton's want Kerry to win? The Hitlery and Bubba insurgency has already begun. After Bush wins, us bloggers need to rest and then consolidate our efforts to bring to the world light on Hitlery's illegal senate campaign funds, ad infinitum. The MSM's love for Kerry pales in comparison for their love of Hitlery.

I guess I won't say anything too bad about ole slick - even though he caused this country much more harm than good.

He's almost likeable sometimes - kinda like a dopey old uncle who comes to visit and ogles your sister. Hell, at least you knew what you were getting.

I served under him active duty Army when he was president - I didn't like it, but I did it. I hope he can experience a deep period of reflection over his actions while he was charged with the most sublime responsibility our nation can bestow on a mere man...and I hope he recovers, all things considered.

Not that I disagree with the sentiment, but how come statements like this survive when much milder comments on Christopher Reeve get deleted?

Do you really need an answer to that?

Yeah, that's what I read somewhere, that he'd been recuperating nicely.

He'll be feeling worse tonight after Kerry blows the debate.

Didn't Hillary link Kerry's success (or lack thereof) in the debates?

So many hypocrites. People here were (rightly) calling him a traitor for what he gave to China. Now, some of the little lambs here wish him well.

Sickening.

"GOOD POINT.

I retract my earlier comments.

Long life to Ol Zipper!"

Yeah ... The jury will disregard that remark!

You won't mind if I re-read them again? I kind of thought they were right on. ;)

Besides I just love to annoy the almighty Freeper pontificators.

Bill wants Hillary to run in '08. Hillary wants Hillary to run in '08. Clinton will bring out the African-American vote, not so horseface. Any question?

He might be physically OK, but people often show mental problems after open heart surgery, whther from blood clots or from the various medications. He might not be sharp enough to be seen in public.

I agree with this. I had a heart attack at age 47, went into cardiac arrest twice. Was horribly depressed and morbid for nearly six months after.

A near-death experience is an awesome, terrible thing, and the emotional damage often outlasts the physical.

That said, even though I couldn't stand him as president, I'm praying for his recovery.
