Sinclair: Kerry Enemies List 'Just Astounding'

Reacting to a threat from a Kerry campaign official who was unhappy about Sinclair Broadcasting's decision to broadcast a documentary about John Kerry's anti-Vietnam War protests, Sinclair spokesman Mark Hyman said Tuesday that he was "astounded" to learn that the Kerry campaign was keeping a media "enemies" list.

"To imply that they might use something such as the independent regulatory process of the FCC to exact revenge against media organizations that they find to be enemies or not supportive of their cause is just astounding," Hyman told Fox News Channel's "Special Report with Brit Hume."

Earlier in the day, campaign spokesman Chad Clanton had warned, "Listen - they better look out there at Sinclair Broadcasting . . They've stirred up a lot of hatred . . . I think they're going to regret doing this. They better hope we don't win."

Hyman said Clanton's words "certainly sounded like a threat," and that was cause for widespread concern.

"It's something that should cause concern for every media organization in the country - if this is going to be a precedent for this campaign or any other campaign should they win," the Sinclair spokesman told Fox.

Without cash they have the 'deficit', a two for one for them. Pad absolutely necessary bills with their giveaway programs, then when the President signs them, blame him for the deficit.

Mark Hyman's commentaries over the Sinclair stations have been devastating to Kerry over the past several weeks. On weekends, he reads letters he's received of loony leftists, and their hysterical, hateful tone demonstrates everything you ever needed to know about them.

If there's a Sinclair station in your area, call them and thank them for showing "Stolen Valor." If you are not in a Sinclair market, call up another TV station - one you think may be responsive - and ask them to show the documentary.

"I don't think we should take the high road as defined by liberals."

I agree. What I'm talking about is using the IRS and FBI to watch and harass political enemies like Clinton did. An 'enemies list' implies payback, which could involve an abuse of administrative authority, at least if you view in the context of the last Democrat who held the office. Sinclair showing 'Stolen Honor' is absolutely appropriate in light of this campaign and the groundrules established by the Democrats and their pet rat, Michael Moore. But Kerry's capable of an American version of the Night of the Long Knives.

They'll only be able to get so far before they run out.
If you look at government spending, most of it goes to pay support for our political enemies.

Isn't it ironic that Nixon's old opponents (Rather, Kerry) are doing all the things they accused Nixon of doing? They're both going to say their farewell to public life soon, in shame and disgrace.

Seriously. No taxation without representation.
Republicans pay, Democrats take. Yet, the democrats feel they should control the politics in this country? They don't represent the tax payers. They represent the tax spenders!

Dangit - I want a local Sinclair station! Fox should take a note on the definition of 'unafraid'. FNC is going wobbly.

Political Correctness is a way to silence any dissent against a liberal special interest group.
Name any liberal group. Can you speak out against them without the threat of hate speech?

Seriously. No taxation without representation.

Another tea party would not necessarily have to be fashioned in the same way.

Our country must be removed from socialist hands. If it takes NOT supporting a Democrat government - so be it! It would be better than a civil war.

If it takes NOT supporting a Democrat government

Our system says no taxation without representation.
Electoral votes should be based on taxpayers, not squatters.

YOU GOT IT!!

Everyone Dependent on the Government = An Automatic Built-In Permanent Dream of a Voter Bloc

Also, means this same group, paying someday 95% of their salaries in taxes will be okay with that.

Maybe this is why FOX is now swinging a bit to the left?

I sometimes wonder if many of us concerned people shouldn't buy Fox stock up in small chunks to help prevent a hostile take over by someone with an agenda. Yes, I know it's a multi-billion dollar company. And I'm sure not loaded with money. Really don't think it's worth the time or money. It's just something that worries me. But then again, if someone is looking for an investment, I don't think it hurts to buy into a company who you believe has a good product.
