Flt 800 exploded over the Atlantic Ocean, no where near the Long Island Sound.

And, I do know eyewitnesses (two) who saw the upward streaking trail. They are sober, mature non-political people who know exactly what they saw.

Yep, Atlantic Ocean it is. Also, just after TWA 800 exploded, our local News12 Long Island tv station fielded live on-air phone calls and reports from witnesses who saw something hit the plane. Some callers referred to it as a possible small plane that hit TWA 800.

News12 kept reporting it early on as a collision with a small plane because of this. So, it was clear moments after the crash that witnesses saw something hit TWA 800. But the story changed by the next day...
