I "suspect" Clinton did something in his last 24 hours to "assist" Kerry. There is something on World Net Daily in all the TWA 800 stuff about the real reason Gore didn't run was Kerry has "investigated" dealings he had during the Clinton Administration -- basically blackmailed Gore (not that it broke my heart... but shows more of the guy's lack of character.
I know, but even before Clinton was first elected, lots of smarmy stuff was being exposed about him, which seemed to make him even more popular with his fans. I think the Dems haven't decided what they want to be when they grow up, they picked another candidate with lots of baggage, and this one has absolutely no core.
