The film story has been pretty much discredited. Remember now, this man has known he wanted to run for public office since he was a teenager...he would NEVER have done that.
But at the time, he would have seen the trip to Paris are being a "doer" and I think he was surprised when he lost his first election, with all the publicity he got as a head of VVAW. Now, in wartime, he will pay the price. It also highlights why he must emphasize this isn't a "war", but a law enforcement issue.
Thank you Keith. Very much appreciated. I'll hang up my shiny hat for now, but I don't feel any less like hurling-to-dry-heaves at the thought of what that disgusting clump of human cells has done to this great country, and to his fellow BRAVE AND HONORABLE men (and women) of the United States Military.
The truth WILL out. It always does. Sorry for my random thought about the whizzing thing, Keith.
The Vietnam War was described as a "police action" by many. I bet those killed or wounded or "dissed" by Kerry as "criminals" might not agreee.
