My husband is an ME and used to design all kinds of parts for hot taps for an oil svcs company. I showed him the post and he thought it was BS.
Thanks for showing it to your husband. I hope he and others are correct. I showed it to my Wife and she thought the guy was definitely crazy.

Was it BS that he knew what he was pissed off about? No.
Was it BS that he knew mostly what he was talking about? No.
Was it BS that he was posting in a science and astronomy forum? No. Why was he posting it there? ?
Was it BS that he could replicate State vehicle paint jobs? No.
What exactly was Bravo Sierra? Hot tapping? I've seen it done, nothing to it with the right equipment and training.
Was it BS that there are pipelines coming from Canada? No.
I found his post disturbing and brought it over her to TM for analysis as well as reported it.
