A few interesting subjects on the class curricula from the Islamic Jaffaria Education Center in Florida. On their website they refer to the school as a Madressa. Classes are held each Sunday for children ages 5 through 18.

The curricula is quite lengthly and IMO interesting. These are but a few highlights:

GRADE 4 (AGE 10/11)
Covering social jihad

GRADE 5 (AGE 11/12)
Taqlid -- Ways of obtaining the fatwas of a Mujtahid
NEWS AT BRIEF: Crimes committed in the western countries

GRADE 7 (AGE 13/14)
Jihad -- The true meaning of Jihad Various types of Jihad and When does Jihad become obligatory

GRADE 8 (AGE 14/15)
Violence in the Western civilization verses the Eastern civilization

The curricula states it is for 2001-2002, but, the link to the 2004-2005 curricula from the main page is the same.
