Well I know how serious things are right now but I figured you all might enjoy this little bit of info I got from a friend of mine who is a recruiter for the military in Nevada.

He said he had the displeasure of meeting lurch's sister today at the Nevada day parade. Here's what he just sent me through text message.

I was at the Nevada day parade. All of a sudden, these women walk up to us, and one says, this is john kerry's sister! Isn't that exciting? I she stuck her hand out, i shook it and said, i would care, if you were bushs sister.

I asked him how she took it & he said this:

As she walked away i said loud enough for her to hear "i stubbed my toe! Someone get of a purple heart request!" she seemed pissed.

He also said he got a few dirty looks but mostly laughter & applause from the crowd that heard him. So hope that puts a little smile on some faces here, I know it did mine.
