Bin Laden doesn't want to be used as a political pawn so i think that's why he made the comment about Bush and Kerry. Since Kerry was only confirmed democratic nominee and bin Laden refers to him in name, let's hope this puts to rest all the "Bin Laden is dead" talk.
That rings hollow. There is nothing in that statement that identifies what actions the people of the United States might take to ensure their own security. It is meaningless rhetoric spewed to assuage his Islamic conscience before committing the act.
