I have seen 2 A-10s flying over Maryland (close to DC)(never seen them before except for Andrews demonstrations) and F-16 was reported by friend. Something is up...

News reports indicate that the military is at a higher stage of readiness in the DC area because of the elections and terror threats. Better to have the assets in the air ready than trying to scramble.
