"Bomb squad blows up 2 devices at Milwaukie (OR) school"
KGW.COM ^ | 10/29/04 | TERESA BELL
Posted on 10/29/2004 12:13:58 PM PDT by Knitting A Conundrum
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "MILWAUKIE, Ore. -- Police said a bomb squad blew up two suspicious devices at a high school in North Clackamas County Friday morning, the day after officials decided to close the school due to several bomb threats.
A robot was used to destroy the two devices just before 11 a.m., according to deputy Joel Manley with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office.
The North Clackamas School District put together a team of searchers and they found a backpack within the school building that was beeping every ten seconds, Manley said They also found another device that looks like a pipe bomb under the schools bleachers at the football field."
